Place is kept clean with no funny smells. Meat quality is always fresh and the butchers (carniceros) will accomodate to your specific needs of your cuts and trim off all the fat at your request. They are on top of proper handling of raw meats and hygiene on top of them being courteous. Most of them speak good English so don't be afraid to go there and ask for your fajitas (arrachera skirt steak) they will season it upon request along with seasoned or marinated chicken breast and leg quarters. By the way, they carry the best Picaña beef steak around town for the price (Choice grade). Better than two other nearby competitors. They actually carry the authentic picaña cut unlike other imposter options around the area. If you need any special orders like a whole beef head or whole goat the owner can special order it for you. They also carry some specialty cuts like ox tail and other organ meats. They offer great tasting carnitas on the weekends, chicharrones and home made chorizo dried and fresh. Homemade salsas for sale are also very tasty and always fresh. Produce is some of the freshest and of better quality that you will find around Lawrenceville or Gwinnett county. These tacos? These tacos tasted like the grill was blessed by a tío who’s been marinating meat since the '90s. The carne asada was so juicy it whispered "orale, compa" every time I took a bite. The onions and cilantro weren’t just toppings—they were confetti at a flavor fiesta. And that tortilla? So perfectly toasted, I almost called my abuela to thank her.

The food was decent. Here's my problem with them. I went yesterday (TACO TUESDAY 🌮🌮) and ordered a Steak Taco and a Shrimp Taco. The only topping that came with it was Cilantro and onions🤷🏾‍♀️... I asked about cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and sour cream... ALL EXTRA COST🤔 I said okay, let me have all that and no onions...
