I wanted to exchange some paint. I don't know if it was low quality or a bad batch or what, but it wouldn't stick to my project and would flake off. I called in advance to verify if I could EXCHANGE this for a different, higher priced product and I was told it was okay. I go in, and this "co-manager" that I had to speak with was very rude. "I will let you do it this once. It's already opened, which means I have to damage this out. That means I have to throw this away. You know that, right?" For real?
The refund statement on the receipt does NOT state that it has to be unused. "With Original Sales Receipt: Withing 90 days of purchase we will gladly exchange the merchandise, give store credit, or issue a refund based on the original method of payment. There will be a wait of 10 calendar days on check purchases, or merchandise credit can be issues."
I said I wanted to exchange it for something else. I said I was going to be paying a difference. I had the receipt. He gave me attitude. When I got the product I wanted to purchase, my receipt was thrown away! The cashier had to look in three different trash cans.
For being a "religious-based" company and one that states, "...there are more important things than profits," this co-manager sure seemed like one bottle of paint was going to ruin the store. Because of this, because of the disgusting lack of customer service support, I will not be shopping...
Read moreIf were able to give a -10 stars I sure would after the way I was treated. I walked in the Hobby Lobby store in Lawton around 10:30 or 11am Saturday the 17th of October looking for clock parts to put on a project I was working on. I walked in and asked the a guy at the register where the clock stuff was at. He asked another guy who was talking to a woman to show me where the clock stuff was located at on his way to "clock in". Well I followed the young man and he had informed me that he would NOT help me because he was NOT on the clock yet and told me to find someone else to help me. I was shocked beyond belief. I had then walked to the other side of the store and found a nice young lady whom in turn showed me where the clock stuff was. And believe it or not it right by the place the guy had earlier went to go "clock in". Then I guess the store manager walked up to me and defended the actions of her employee for being lazy and not helping me at all. All he would had to do is 1. Ask me to wait a second while he clocked in, or 2. On his way back to the back room etc walk by where the clock parts were. I will NEVER return to that store!!!!! And in my opinion both the guy and the lady manager should be terminated. I have NEVER been treated so badly and...
Read moreOn a positive note, I always start on one, the selection in the store is amazing and the items that they carry are just whimsical and cute and hard to find elsewhere. I like that they play Christian music as well! Now the negative. I noticed on my receipt that I was charged way too much for a piece of furniture, so I took the receipt back and immediately got attitude telling me that that was the price of the item. I was firm about it and said, no check the other one just like it in the back and you'll see it was marked down. She defiantly walked down to the other piece of furniture and came strolling back saying, yes it was on sale. Then the numbers didn't add up for the refund. She went on to tell me they had to do with the computer said and I asked her if computers were always right in a condescending matter because she was very rude and abrupt with her replies. Needless to say I got the correct amount of money back and was...
