I have been patronizing Trudy's Hallmark since Galaxy Hallmark (best store) closed. I purchase a large amount ($500) of Christmas ornaments every year. We love creating our wishlist and anticipating the upcoming Christmas ! My husband and I love Hallmark and have collected them for over 30 years. The past 2-3 years has been less than ideal at Trudy's. They have lost my Christmas wishlist or "never" received it. We have missed out on ornament favorites each year. Being a member of Keepsake, my wishlist has been submitted electronically or printed and submitted. The special opening for members was not festive, enjoyable, or anything to recommend. Unfortunately, we lost out on ornaments in our collection. Now we have to try to find that special Hallmark Crown store that has that Holiday spirit of helpfulness and caring. Wish Trudy's hadn't lost that customer...
I usually truly enjoy going to my local Hallmark during the holiday season. I'm sad to say that streak ended today. I ordered an item as a gift for my wife online and chose to pick up in store. When I went to pick up the item, It was given to me lose without a box. When I asked about the box for the item I ordered I was told that I shouldn't expect a box. Why in the world would an order placed online that was shipped to store not be delivered with a box? I understand if it was a display that was sold as is, but I ordered the item new from hallmark's webpage. The staff graciously told me that I could purchase the box if I wanted it. I was taken back and didn't know how to respond honestly. I will not be going back to this location again. It is worth driving 10 miles to go to a store that doesn't mistreat it's customers and try and rip them off charging for boxes that the customer should get with the item ordered (retail...

She made a snide comment about āleaving some for other peopleā because my friend asked about an item on the back counter. We were only buying 2 squish each (2 different styles) and were not shelf clearing by any stretch of the imagination. We go here semi frequently to buy these plushies as they release different styles often and we both collect them. We were friendly and polite, and Iām so confused as to why she was so rude. Iāve worked in customer service my entire teens & adult life so I understand it can be stressful and people can be horribly rude to employees, but we were polite, quiet, friendly at the register and were careful to not waste their time.
