I brought my ring in to get a replacement sapphire stone for the one I lost. The two gentlemen that assisted my husband and me were very pleasant to work with. We chatted about the kind and color of sapphire I wanted. They offered to bring in a stone for me to look at and approve before they set the new stone in the ring. Every part of our conversation was honest, clearly defined and up front regarding pricing and timeline for getting this job done. Everything they told us they would do, they absolutely did! We felt welcomed as customers, no service too small for them. From the first time we walked through their door up to the time we picked up my repaired ring we were treated professionally and in a friendly manner. After being mislead and treated poorly at a different jeweler with this repair order, Jared’s was a breath of fresh air. We would highly recommend this Jared’s in Lenexa, KS.

Laura, was amazing with my fiancé working on selecting the perfect engagement ring to propose to me with and she remembers us every time we come in. I've never felt so dismissed as a customer. Went in and waited as they were busy. When it came to my time the salesperson decided to take on 2 customers at once. Myself being 1..I took backseat to the other customer-. I retrieved my jewelry from being inspected and cleaned and left without even being asked my information for documenting my jewelry. Furious at being set aside and finding out the position that person holds at the store. tried to call and no one ever answers.

The worst customer service! I won't go into too much detail but I had a custom ring made last January with nothing but false promise dates and tons of miscommunication. No one there seems to really know what can and can't be done. I was told one thing by one person then turn around and the manager would say they can't do that. I am always making phone calls to follow up with them. Since I've had the ring (4 months) I've had 3 stones fall out. One fell out within the first month of having it. The first time it took 5 days to fix, the second time 2 weeks (which I had finally called to ask about it and it was surprisingly ready...). I went to pick up the ring and it looked like it had just finished being fixed. The stones were so dirty they weren't even the same color and the side of the ring had black marks on it. I asked if they could clean it before I left and he gave it to me looking no better. This past time a stone fell out, I went in and they put a temporary stone in so I could keep the ring until my new stone came in and they would call. No one called it's nearly 2 weeks later. I called to follow up and they said the store manager would call me the next day... No one called. So I call the day after and he tells me it looks like no one placed the order. I seriously regret buying a custom ring from them. I've had rings from target that don't have stones fall out this much, coupled with the horrible communication...I wish I could just have it cared for somewhere else. To top it off no one there has acknowledged the poor communication or customer service. In fact, the store manager seemed to take his frustration out on me. I still have a solitaire that my fiance and I plan on buying and we are going to be buying it from a different company; even though we already have my wedding band and custom...

Unfortunately I am updating this review to more appropriately reflect our experiences at this store. To start off positively, we worked with Hannah, who treated us (an LGBTQ couple) with dignity and respect every time we were in the store. I can not express enough the gratitude we have towards Hannah as a person and professional. She helped my soon-to-be fiance find her dream engagement ring without pressure or hassle or making us feel like an inconvenience.

To reiterate, we have been in the store a total of 4 times which included two purchases, an adjustment and to try on the ring wax mold.

Every single time we were in the store, we were never acknowledged by the general manager, Charlie. Because Hannah was always there, we brushed this off. Until yesterday, which was the final straw.

We came into the store, were not acknowledged or even looked at by Charlie, who was the only visible worker on the floor at the time. We sat quietly and waited as he assisted another family, going above and beyond to care for them while they were visibly trying to leave. His message was loud and clear to us that our business did not matter to him.

Later that evening, I called to inquire about returning the diamond and custom ring. Charlie answered, did not ask my name or account number or date of purchase. He said he would check and then stated that I could not return anything. Again, he didnt ask for any of my information.

My girlfriend called 20 minutes later and Hannah answered the phone. Within 2 minutes, she had processed my return without question and continued with her respect and professionalism.

This specific store has the worst customer service ive ever experienced. For starters they make it a habit not to know how to find my account or use their own computer system. Never fails that a quick run in turns into some delay because someone can't figure out how to take a payment.

Secondly as i was in the store over the weekend they had troubles locating my jewelry. So the sales rep Jessica yells clear across 2 counters. "We have not received a payment " . While i was indeed behind a week or so for a payment . Clearly that was extremely unprofessional. You would not go to a doctor's office and wait for someone to yell across a busy room. What your health conditions are? Third, i purchased a custom piece that was made specifically for my fiancée as they did not have the ring in store. This is always an issue when it comes to a warranty i paid for with the cost. We've baught a new mens watch and wedding band for myself. Several Pandora pieces for family. Going here is never a pleasent experience at all for someone who actually spends a decent amount with this store. The older sales representatives do not care about an issue or discomfort you have. They strickly want a quick sale your in and out and they are looking for a new victim. If it wasn't for a convenient location and warrenties we would stop doing business with them period. I do not recommend anyone spend their time...
