Quick review: Firstly, absolutely amazing customer service! Second, the people here know what they are doing and are very honest about pricing, time it will probably take, and about what they can do for you. I would and always will recommend this repair shop to anyone near the Lewiston area!

Longer review: My Pc was shutting down randomly along with various other strange things! I tried anything that I could and spent probably about 4 hours trying to diagnose the problem myself. When I finally hit the bullet and said I can’t figure it out I need to see if it’s a hardware related problem I discovered The Computer Chip. They had great reviews and so I gave them a shot. When I got there I was immediately greeted and they gave me their rates, what they could do for me, and even offered a 10% student discount on their rate! After handing it off to them they gave me a call within a few hours telling me that they discovered the issue and it was a dead PSU. They replaced my PSU with a new one and even after that I was only in an hour worth of work done to my Pc. I was supper thrilled at the speed at which they completed this diagnosis and repair! In the end they fixed my problem, were super great and knowledgeable people, and have affordable prices! Thank you to everyone at The Computer Chip for saving me the headache of trying to fix...

I have to say my first experience w/them I wasn't happy but it was part them & hubby communication I discovered. So reluctantly tried them again and glad I did it turned out 100% better and I'm grateful for that. So they have gone out of there way since to help me (which I expect a lot btw) so ask questions so you get what's being done and how much $ approx. It can be stressful when your life & finances are tied up in your computer which has been hacked and your trying to stay calm explain your situation it helps them. They also have options to offer that can help you check online issues like email etc to be aware and can do remote access. They also have some type training classes one on one you can pay them to show you how to navigate better I hear tho I haven't tried that yet. So good to know. So cheers is to better...

Just want to give a big shout out to Trevor at the Computer Chip. He has worked with me for the last 2 day's trying his hardest to get my son's computer running. Treats you with the upmost respect and helps you understand what he is going to do to try and help. If it were not for Trevor I think the computer would be in the trash.
