My friend and I are passionate Pokémon fans and have been spending our hard-earned money traveling to different GameStops in search of the Prismatic promo. We’ve had great experiences at other stores—friendly staff, helpful answers, even when stock was gone. But this location was a different story.
When we politely asked about availability, the employee at the counter responded with a snarky, “We’ve been open since 10 or 11,” like our question didn’t even deserve a real answer. He didn’t bother to explain anything further or show the slightest courtesy. Just attitude.
Apparently the promos were already gone, which we would’ve completely understood if it had been communicated respectfully. But instead, the conversation was laced with rudeness and zero customer care. After that, he just lingered behind the counter, totally checked out, like helping customers was beneath him.

Really disappointing experience. Won’t be coming back to...

They do midnight releases here which are pretty well-organized across most gamestops from my limited experience with them. It's no surprise that trade-ins generally aren't worth it, but their used game deals are always pretty decent and can be good when they're running sales. Rule of thumb is if you're gonna buy something from gamestop just check and see if you can find it cheaper elsewhere because you usually can unless it's...
