If you want quick and quality service, I suggest driving a few minutes down the road and going to Charter Oak Starbucks. This Starbucks is understaffed and overworked and it is effecting the quality of service. Placed a mobile order before I left my house. When I got to the Starbucks the drive thru line was already out into the main road with people trying to back out of parking spaces causing a traffic jam in the ONLY entrance. This Starbucks is continuously backed up because of their slow service. Once I was able to get inside, my order was not made yet. Waited 25 minutes until I asked the barista if my order had even showed up on their screen. She said my order wasn't the next one but the one after that. I then waited another 8 minutes and watched her make SIX MORE DRINKS!! None of them were my drink. I told her to just forget about my drink and I can just get a refund or a gift card. She said they were short staffed and I would have to come back later and get a refund from the register. Came back around 3:30pm, explained I needed a refund from a mobile order I did not receive. The person at the cash register looked confused and said "This isn't how we normally issue refunds." I told her this is what I was told to do and she did end up issuing me a refund. I understand Starbucks in the morning is guaranteed to be busy but I have seen just as many cars, if not more, at other Starbucks locations and have never had to wait more than 5 minutes on a mobile order that I had placed 10-15...
Read moreIf it were possible to give a 0 star rating I would do so, but unfortunately I have to give 1. I have been coming to this Starbucks for approximately 5 months and have absolutely loved the service that I had been receiving until today. This morning, I ordered a Grande hot Caramel Macchiato at the drive thru. When I got up to the window I was greeted by the cashier Hunter. When he handed me the cup, I noticed that there was a red stain on the cup and lid that looked like lipstick. I quickly pointed this out to him and asked if he could put my coffee in a clean cup. He consulted with another employee and said sure. A few minutes later, he handed me my cup and I began driving off. When I reached the exit I looked at the cup only to find that it was the EXACT same cup and lid with the same red stain on it! I was horrified, but on my way to work and in a hurry, so I didn't have time to go back. I discarded the coffee when I reached work because I was afraid to drink it. This act was very unsanitary and may have put me at risk! When I first noticed the stain I should have just asked for a refund and left.
I am upset and very disappointed. I am appalled that anyone would even THINK of doing something like this to anyone! I was expecting great service as usual, however, that was not delivered today and I am now disgusted with...
Read moreI frequent Starbucks quite regularly. Usually use the Saluda Point store. Unfortunately this store is on the way to the golf course. Ran into someone calling himself “Joe” that works here. Had no interaction with Joe until they made my drink wrong. When I approached the counter and let Joe know that what they made was wrong, Joe proceeded to tell me that is not what he heard me order…….now I may be a little slow, but Joe I think I know what I ordered. Regardless, if the customer is wrong in your mind you still try to make it right,, you don’t sit there and smile at them and argue about what they ordered. Anyway long story short, left the drink figuring Joe would refund my account since I used the app. Well Joe didn’t, so I contacted corporate. They were a pleasure to deal with. Gave me all my money back and a voucher for a free cup. So lesson here people, you want anything to happen don’t waste time with these people in the store, contact corporate. Also Joe is getting a visit from the regional manager soon. Be a better person Joe. Avoid this Starbucks at all costs. 1/15/25. Visited again, place...
