*UPDATE I had hope but it was pointless. I've come to the conclusion that this location is going down due to new management/employees! To ensure that I did not have to sit through the smell of this location (maybe it's me but it smells like the inside of a basement that has not been aired out), I placed my order online at 9:04am. Arriving at 9:27am I was questioned as to the location where the order was placed. Once it was determined I was at the correct location, and that there would be a delay in completing the order, I requested to have it canceled and refunded to my original form of payment... sounds simple. I was advised that a supervisor, would have to process this issue once one arrives. Having gone through this in the past, I am extremely concerned on the process of this. But I DEFINITELY will not be visiting this location again unless they clear house & start over
typically have great things to say about this location, however, after my delayed delivery experience yesterday, October 13th, I have to share what was pointed out to me by LeAnn, who identified herself as a manager. At 11:46am yesterday, I placed an order with an expected deliver of 12:32pm, that later changed to 12:45pm. The update for the 12:45 delivery was received via text at 12:56pm, prompting a call to verify the status/location. It was even determined that my delivery should arrive by 1:20. When it had not arrived by 1:30, I requested to cancel. I was informed this was processed, and via email I also received the same update along with instructions to contact the merchant for any questions...I did. I called to verify the refund process, and was told that I would have to reach out to Doordash. After doing so yesterday and today, Oct. 14th, I received the same information-the refund is to be issued by the store. In calling back today, I requested to speak with leadership. Arriving to the phone, LeAnn address herself, and after being updated on the issue it was explained that when canceling an order, it is the responsibility of the customer to reach out to the store to request that the refund is escalated to the proper party (upper management) to issue a refund. Never have I had to go through so many obstacles to receive a refund for French toast that required almost 2 hours to deliver!! NOW I'm being told to follow up within an additional 48hours after already "following up" for 2 days to ensure the refund was initiated?!?! It was asked REPEATEDLY if this is the process, to which I received confirmation that it is. Also, tried several times to reach the location, but was unsuccessful-at first. Read moreI should preface this with the fact that the only reason we went to IHOP was because I had an old gift card that i rediscovered. I’m giving more like a 2.5 stars here.
We walked in at 9 on a Saturday to two people waiting ahead of us. We were told a 10 minute wait and that turned into almost 30. By the time we were being seated, the entire waiting area was flooded with people waiting…counter staff told almost everyone it would be a 10-15 minute wait, some of the same people were still waiting to be called when we left an hour later. So basically, don’t trust the wait time.
Our server was really nice and did her job to our expectation. She checked on us periodically and made sure drinks stayed filled.
Food was fine, but disappointing at the same time. I don’t know how they managed to run out of gravy, but we were told they ran out Friday night and couldn’t make more…interesting take for a breakfast place, but whatever. They were out of a solid handful of other things so my first, second, AND third choices (biscuits and gravy, pumpkin spice pancakes, and Oreo waffle) were ALL out of stock. I settled for regular pancake meal, adding cheese and onion to my hash browns and asked for them well done. I’m a Waffle House hash brown enthusiast so I’m fine with some greasy hash browns, but these grease from these hash browns was running allllllll over my plate. The hash browns were soggy, barely lukewarm, and the onions were burnt. Sunny side up eggs were cooked to the point of not having much runny yoke at all. Pancakes were good though! It’s kinda hard to mess those up, but hey, I’ll give credit where credit is due. My kid was happy with his hot coco and chicken and waffles.
Everything is a little sticky in the restaurant and the booths are WILDLY uncomfortable. The one we sat in had to have been broken, but whatever.
Overall, I’m glad that my gift card covered my whole meal because I wouldn’t spend my own money on most of the food. But the service was fine and the food wasn’t totally inedible. I’m not going to be making any trips back…IHOP isn’t the same when it’s not 3am and...
Read moreI have been a few times for breakfast and have never had a problem. However tonight 2/1 my friends and I went to eat dinner at 9pm and it was a complete turnaround from what we have been used to. I have been in the service industry for 6+ years and am typically very understanding and patient when it comes to these type of things. When we got there, there was 4 other tables. We sat at the table for 15-20 minutes without being greeted and to get our drink order. After we were able to place our drink order along with our food it took another 10-15 minutes to receive our drinks. The waitress informed us that they were out of white bread when ordering. After ordering she then came out and told us that they were actually out of the quesadilla app. and multi grain bread for the avocado sandwich. After receiving our food and drinks, the chocolate milk that was supposed to be large was regular and had white stuff floating throughout it and was not flavorful like it typically is, and the bacon omelette had no cheese sauce or tomato’s along with whole bacon slices w just cheese, whole bacon slices and egg. We overheard a different server telling their table that they were out of avocado, so my friend checked her avocado sandwich that they were out of the bread for … no avocado. Finally the cherry on top, our cinnamon donut holes had some type of multicolored hair on it, it looked like an animal hair. I hope it was just a bad night, but needless to say we will definitely be taking a break from going to this ihop...
