Lexington Cinemas — Attraction in Lexington

Not worth your time.

Today, my family and I went to see the new Captain America movie at Lexington Cinema 8 while the movie was great the theater was not. This is my local theater and I loved going their when I was a child but now it is not worth my time or money. The new management of Lexington Cinema 8 has demonstrated to me that they DO NOT care about themselves or their customers. No professionalism what so ever. The entire theater is a mess. The lobby needs to be cleaned and so does each theater room. The theater rooms always have trash, split popcorn, and cups left behind from the previous movie goers. Their snack bar today was out of straws and I had no choice but to drink from a full cup in a dark theater while trying not to spill anything. Thankfully, I did not. One would figure that straws are among the top items that theaters needs to keep stocked. For whatever reason Cinema 8 did not have any in storage. Their bathrooms are also dirty, out of soap, and out of paper towels. It is amazing to me how they don't care about themselves or their customers.

The thicket prices are cheap but the environment is not worth it. I rather pay a little bit more to see a good movie in a professional and clean movie theater. I plan to do this from now on.

I recommend you go somewhere else until Lexington...

I went to go see the new avenger's infinity war movie and i never been so disappointed with this theater they had teenagers in the same theater as us and they started off making all sort of noises first so i said kids will be kids so i ignored them but they started to get louder and louder and then one of them stood up and pulled their pants down to fart in a gentlemans face i just thought that was disgusting and not to mention being disrespectful so i went to say something to the people upfront about the disruption and the lady that worked there just looked at me like i was dumb or something i ended up getting my money back and telling them i wont be back at this facility ill go somewhere else. They had children in there watching the movie too while this one teen wanted to pull his pants down and pass gas in front of someone is morally wrong and if i had a child i wouldnt want to bring my child into that kind of facility that just doesnt do anything about...

My kids an I love having a theater so close to home...an this theater is nostalgic to me...an I love being able to experience it with my kids now...we love the summer kids movies as well ...an the staff is super nice...I don't see what the reviews are on the bug's...I've personally never seen any bug's....maybe y'all brought them with you🤷‍♀️! They are fixing the theater up..it takes time...!! An money..so maybe donate some if y'all would like to see the progress be done sooner...my kids an I ONLY go to this theater...an we enjoy it....the only thing I will say is that the staff should clean in between each movie...but in all fairness customers shouldn't leave their trash to begin with...smh makes you wonder how their houses look...if they just leave their trash behind them in a theater when they leave...I just want to thank you to whomever bought it and reopened it...we are so...
