If I could give a lower review, I would. Their system allows you and even encourages you to schedule on days they do not provide service. I called them, as soon as I realized they did not offer axe throwing on Thursdays, and they never called back.
I then contacted them through Facebook numerous times, attempting to get a refund for a service they never provided. They claimed that cancellation on their end was proof of refund, but it has been over 10 business days. I called my bank, and the bank said that Axehole never initiated the refund.
Instead of providing proof of refund, they accused me of theft and fraud, stating that I was trying to get money from my bank and the company, as if that is even possible, since I paid by card. If I was trying to get a cash refund or a gift certificate, MAYBE that would be double dipping, but banks don't refund you twice!
Their customer service is disgustingly rude and apathetic. I don't review on Google often, but do NOT go to this place. They are the worst axe throwing business I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with.
Refund my $85 for God's sake!
Oh! And they blocked me from their Facebook page so that I couldn't post an honest review there. How professional!
Update: 9/3/2025 - they responded to my husband's Facebook review of them by sending a screenshot I provided them, of my bank statement showing that their charge came out and was never refunded. They think that is proof of refund.
It is not, and they don't know to read a bank statement. I have requested numerous times just to receive proof, FROM THEM, that a refund has been initiated. Instead, they continue to lie, accuse me of fraud, and say that I am bashing them.
Do not give this horrible, awful, rude, company your business. It has been a god awful nightmare trying to get my money back. Will update, if I actually receive my funds or if I have to initiate a charge back after the mandatory 30 day wait period...
Read moreMy wife and I’s first axe throwing experience and it didn’t disappoint! It was a spontaneous idea that we should go and of three different places we decided on AxeHole to go to. Of the three, we drove by the other two to get to this one and as stated before, we were not disappointed. Extremely friendly and helpful staff had no problem giving us pointers for proper throwing technique. The games within the throwing just adds to the fun. My wife and I are already talking about the next time for us to go.
I want to say this to help make everything flow best for you: Go to their website for hours and to schedule your throwing time! It will ensure that you’re going to have all the fun you can have.
While online, fill out the waivers. That is another great way to walk right in and start up.
My wife and I practically walked in and went straight to our alley for throwing with only a pause for waters and to check in.
We sure do hope to...
Read moreDo not I repeat DO NOT waste your money at friction skate in Lexington!! I was under the impression that it was a skating rink, well it is not!! They don’t have a wood floor it’s just a small concrete circle and it isn’t even smooth all the way around!! Your kids will most definitely get hurt there!! We went and as soon as I stepped on the floor I knew it wasn’t right and I wasn’t going to skate on that!! They wouldn’t refund me my money either and at $14 bucks a person… well I could have went bowling instead or went to tville real rink!!! Don’t get me wrong the staff was super nice about everything but I just think they could do better and be an actual skating rink even if it is small!!! I woulda taken my refund to the other part, probably would have had a lot more fun over...
