Warby Parker Fritz Farm — Attraction in Lexington

I took my dad here to get new glasses after pricing frames and lenses at the eye doctor's office. The eye doctor's office did not have a great selection and was very expensive. Plus, the customer service at the eye doctor's office wasn't great even though the doctor was perfectly nice and knowledgeable. At any rate, I had seen the Warby Parker commercials on TV and was surprised to see a store in The Summit. So, I told Dad we should go there and comparison shop. We walked into the store, which was very modern and had a huge selection of frames on display. But I handed the man who greeted us Dad's printed prescription, told him what we were looking for in terms of style and width, and he went right over to the wall and picked out three different frames that were all perfect when Dad tried them on. The hardest part of the whole transaction was Dad deciding which he liked best. There was no bad choice. And the price was HUNDREDS of dollars cheaper than the frames at the eye doctor's office. The quality at Warby Parker was better too. I guess I thought Warby Parker was just for young hipsters given the modern vibe of the store and company. But, everybody wants to look their best regardless of their age, and I would say that Warby Parker is perfectly appropriate for older customers as well. My wife and I were in the store a week and a half ago because she needs new glasses. They were not very busy (it was a Saturday) but seemed well staffed just in case. The staff was very helpful, and friendly. We had a good experience while we were there, and she ended up ordering glasses. They said it could take a couple of business days to get the prescription from her doctor, that glasses typically ship in 7-10 days, and that our card would not be charged until the order had processed. They also let us know if there were any issues, she would be contacted.

It's been 12 (8 business) days at this point and our card still hasn't been charged, and she hasn't been contacted by phone or email of any issues. She has tried calling several times (varying times of the day) over the past week to check, and hasn't been able to talk to a live person one time. She has sat on old for 10-20 minutes at a time waiting, with both the store number and general customer service number. After the great experience we had in store, it's insane that she has to drive across town just to talk to someone in person about an order that should have been processed already. This review isn’t for this location but for the business in general! I’ve done the at home trial with 3 different boxes, so 15 pairs of glasses lol, and have absolutely loved every single pair lol. Some have looked great and some well.... not so much lol. I have just sent back the 3rd box and decided on two pair out of it. There’s a couple other pairs in different colors i may end up trying on a 4th box just to see if I like any of them better! But what I love is the prices are so affordable I have went from a single pair of ugly glasses to now I have 4 pairs plus 2 more pairs out of the box I just sent back and like I said there’s still more I want to try on lol!! The customer service has been absolutely amazing!!! They have answered a ton of questions for me, shipped out tons of glasses and even when I was late getting a box back they where so nice about it I was shocked lol!! I absolutely recommend this company! If the workers at the box location in Hamburg are even half as nice as the online workers then they will deserve the 5...
