Hate writing bad reviews but.. Went to 33 staves yesterday for mothers day. Had a reservation at 7:30, it wasn't busy at all, get there and takes about 5 min to get seated. Took another 30 minutes for the woman to come take our order and tells us sorry it's just her and the bartender working and that she's the supervisor can you belive us moms have to work on mothers day, i havn't served in a long time so bear with me, let me go get my notepad to write down your order. She comes back and says I'm so sorry I forgot my notepad let me go grab it. Comes back again and said she had forgotten it again! She finally comes back with it to write our order down and 1 cocktail my gf ordered. Took about 30-40 min to get the drink (which was not good at all) and another 30 to get our food. We asked for 1 more set of silverware as the 5th person in our table didn't have one. She never came back so he walked over and grabbed one where they are placed. We start eating and the food was just horrible 😩. As we are eating She comes and say oh here's that silverware, we said we don't need it now, she lays it down on the table and says well here you go anyway. We tried to eat what we could and waited forever for her to bring our check so we can get the hell out of there after being there so long. It was our first time there and will be the last. Today my gf and I has upset stomachs. Such a horrible mothers day dinner. As a supervisor, you should know every in and out of that place and...
Read moreOverall, it's a small menu, nothing to rave about. We had chicken wings, lamb ribs, a salmon entree, and the pork dish at our table. Nothing was bad per say but nothing was outstanding or stood out to where I was like I gotta come back...
My biggest disappointment is I read the menu over throughly a few times... recall short menu... several dishes contained tomatoes, which I don't get along with. I ordered the salmon as it was Salmon, Okra, and corn medley. I get it and am surprised to see cherry tomatoes, which wasn't listed in the description, and one of the primary reasons I ordered that dish. Some of the blame is on me as I should've asked. However, with other dishes pointing out tomatoes, I would've assumed all would've. Luckily, they were only an irritant to me and nothing serious, so I moved them aside and avoided them at all costs.
I also had the affogato for dessert. Was pretty good, but the ratio was off, not enough ice cream and a ton of expresso, which equaled a drinkable soup before I could eat it.
Overall, if someone asked me to go there, I wouldn't balk, but I wouldn't really request to go here either.
Favorite thing is the lamb ribs... wish they would've had a...
Read moreWe made a reservation on the Saturday prior to valentines for 5:30. We weren’t greeted promptly, actually stood around waiting on someone to acknowledge us for some time. Finally the waiter waved us in. The table was cute and ambiance was nice and welcoming. They had a Valentine’s Day specialty menu in addition to their day-to-day menu, pictured below. Drinks were pricy, food was a little pricy but was good except it was over salted. In fact, it could have done with no salt, we had to take breaks from eating bc of the salt issue and I noticed someone else below made this same comment and it has not been corrected. The chorizo fritters were good but if you didn’t know they were named “chorizo fritters” you wouldn’t know they contain chorizo because it contains so little chorizo. The beer cheese is Amazing! The harvest salad and burger were both good again though, salt! The waiter was really nice, and attentive. The total for everything pictured was $85 before tip. So a pricey dinner but I would eat here again. Just note- ask them to go LIGHT...
