Some of the employees are great. Others including the guy that runs this location could use some training in customer service. I generally don’t write reviews but this one, I had to. We requested to sit outside and they tried to seat us inside after waiting for about 10 - 15 mins. I then told the hostess that we requested to be seated outside. They then put us back on the list to wait for a seat to open up outside. Only to be taken by surprised to see the 2 ladies that came in about 5 minutes after us be seated outside. Now we have the same number in our party as they did. I thought to myself maybe that called ahead on the app or something. I let that one go and waited to be seated again. When they called us to be seated, we walked up to the hostess and the store manager walks up and says I’m sorry but your table is not ready yet they assigned that table to someone else. We will need to put you back on the waiting list for a table outside. I then explained to him what has happened and he said that since we changed our mind and wanted to sit outside that we would be put at the bottom of the list again. And I explained to him that we originally requested to sit outside when we arrived. I then told him to forget it and we were leaving. All of this could have been avoided if he said, I apologize and hold tight right here and I will have a table ready for you in the next few minutes or something along those lines. We were there opening day in the Lexington and had gone back every week since. Really enjoyed the food and atmosphere until this past experience. If only I could find a number or contact for a corporate office to call. Train, train, train these people to have better customer service skills or else they will be out as fast as they came in.
