Me and my family came here to celebrate a graduation, so I had family that flew in from out of state and even overseas too. The food was great but our service was unfortunately bad which put a damper on my mood. I don’t remember our servers name, except that it started with an S or C, and she was young and wore glasses. Firstly, they sat us 30 minutes past our reservation time, I understand they were busy so it’s fine, we can deal. However, once we got seated our server forgot to provide us with tokens, and we weren’t served until ANOTHER HALF AN HOUR after we were seated. Luckily we had the soup and salad to hold us off so it wasn’t a complete bust, but I felt absolutely horrible because my family had all got there that same day and were looking forward to dinner after traveling for so many hours/days. Our server ditched us after that, only stopping back by a couple more times. We asked for water which wasn’t provided for us and she said it’s because there was nobody at the table when she came with it, however I know this is not true because we made sure there were at least two people at our table at all times, and took turns getting up for the salad bar. After we got served the first time (which again, was after half an hour) it would be another 15-20 minutes before they came by again with the same exact cut of meat we just had, which was filet mignon. I spoke to the server three times, one to ask her for water again, another to let her know we still hadn’t gotten served, and another to ask if they could bring us chicken and lamb in addition to the filet mignon. ALL three time she rolled her eyes and walked away, which was extremely jarring for me and I didn’t know how to respond, but I tried not to let it ruin my mood. I am a server as well and I was really disappointed and angered that she never apologized or even offered an explanation. That’s bad service. It was awful watching the tables around us get served multiple times by servers and food runners, and have us skipped over completely. I didn’t see the server again until she came to collect her payment. Since I couldn’t find our server, I instead asked a food runner that walked by if he could help and after that we were being served every few minutes, I REALLY REALLY hope at least part of our tip went to the food runners, because they were all fantastic and very very kind! That is the only reason I gave two stars instead of one. I am embarrassed and disappointed I took my family here, I came here another time a few years ago and it was nothing like this experience. I don’t know if the server was having a bad day, or was embarrassed that she forgot about our table, but her response was highly inappropriate and again, as a server myself, honesty and an apology goes a really long way. I don’t think I will be returning, which sucks because they have amazing lobster...
Read moreThe food and staff at this restaurant get 5 stars. The manager gets 0 stars! We traveled a little over 60 miles to get to Texas de Brazil to celebrate my birthday. The food was fantastic and our waitress was wonderful. She did an awesome job, had a quirky sense of humor, and was very personable. Unfortunately, I neglected to get her name. We chatted a little during the meal and I found out she was from Mexico. I don't know her name, and don't want to give out any more of her personal details, but we couldn't have hand picked a better waitress. The problems came from the party in the private room, or at least the first woman who came into that room. She began spraying something on the surfaces in the room and continued to spray whatever it was (disinfectant?) over and over again every 10 or 15 minutes. After a little while, I began to get a pounding headache. I mentioned this to our waitress and told her I felt it was due to whatever was being sprayed in that room which was right next to our table. She also had gotten a bad headache and said she would ask if she could close the doors to the room. I saw her go to the manager and speak to him, but when she came back, she apologetically told me that she could not close the doors and offered to clean off a recently vacated table in another part of her section so we could move away from the private room. First, lady in the private room - if you're that paranoid about germs - STAY HOME! Your paranoia made me sick and greatly reduced the happiness of my birthday celebration! Your celebration isn't any more important than my celebration. Second, and probably more important - the manager did NOTHING even though one of his patrons was getting sick in his restaurant from a preventable situation. He could have told that woman she had to stop spraying. He could have closed the doors to the private room. He could have comped part of our costs. At the VERY least, he should have come over and apologized to us and offered us some type of solution to the problem. He did NOTHING! I have no idea why he didn't do anything, although the other party was bigger than ours and, therefore, would be spending more money in his restaurant, so perhaps that influenced his inaction towards us. I can only speculate. A good manager does not ignore a situation like that happening in his restaurant. He takes action. By the time I left the restaurant, my headache was so bad I had become extremely nauseous. 15 -20 minutes after leaving, I had to find a gas station bathroom. In my opinion, Mr. Manager, you are a very bad...
Read moreMost I have ever paid for awful service. My family and I reserved a table over two hours ahead of time. Arrived 30 minutes before our reservation time to check in. So far everything is perfectly normal. Our reserved time comes and goes, a little after I went to ask about how much longer the wait might be, the manager informed me it would be about 10 to 15 minutes longer. It wasn't until 45 minutes past our allotted time we were taken to our table. (I did not ask again, as the staff up front seemed disinterested.) After we were seated we sat for about 10 minutes before we received anything to drink, waters. About another 10 minutes went by before we received our ordered drinks. We then waited about 15 minutes after we received our drinks to get our salad bar order, one was missing.(One refill was offered at this time the only time during the whole stay, even though our drinks were low or empty more than once). They hurried on the missing salad plate, it was replaced in about 5 minutes. While they were replacing that order, I asked about when we would be receiving any meats (we hadn't gotten the green and red card markers, not sure if this place does them but most Brazilian Steakhouses do) at this time one of the servers walking was waved over an offered us one chicken parm drum each. About 5 minutes later a server came by and offered us a small bacon filet bit each. About 5 minutes after that the manger came by with a cut of meat we didn't want and we declined, he then asked us what we were wanting and said he would have it sent over. That was the last time we would see anyone at our table, offering meat or anything else. We waited another 25 minutes and when we saw a couple who had arrived after us leaving so we decided to leave. I tracked the manager down and asked for the check. After we had payed and were on our way out the door they offered us a couple of cuts a of meat we were waiting for but we were already on our way out , too little too late. I have been to several other Brazilian Steakhouses all over, and this is the only time I have ever left hungry and very unsatisfied. What little we did eat was good, but customer service is severely lacking, and it seems to come from the top, since the manager didn't seem to care. He went through the motions of saying sorry, but on the way out the door he said "It will be better next time, thanks" seemed like a polite...
