Great Clips — Attraction in Liberty Hill

Would not recommend this place at all, especially if your female, STAY AWAY. I’ve had my hair cut at a lot of great clips locations, and this one ruined my hair. I asked for 3-4 inches cut off (collarbone length) with some light layers. To start off she decided apon herself that I’d look better with an angled cut, this didn’t turn out terrible and it did compliment me more, but she didn’t inform me she was doing it, that should of been my first red flag to leave immediately. It’s the layers is where it all went down hill. She started cutting layers by taking a large stripe down the center of my head and made a giant chop. I think she didn’t know what she was doing because after this she tried to blend it, long story short I now have side bangs that go all the way past my ear, with the shortest layer being nose length and on the side of my head and about mouth length as you go towards my face. Remind you I asked for light layers. If my hair drys naturally you can clearly see the giant chop she did, and it’s going to take at least 2 years to get her botched layers grown out. I don’t even know how to fix it other than to pull the short layers back and attempt to hide them as much as I can. I have never cried over a haircut, I’m not attached to my hair, it grows back eventually, but I did cry over this awful haircut once I was in the car on...

This place is really good and most of the stylists are friendly. Giving a three stars only because after my last visit I need to reconsider getting Lee. If you get Lee you have a 50/50 chance of getting either amicable service or attitude. My last visit, I got the latter. She’s a good stylist, don’t get me wrong, she just may or may not cut your hair the way you want. I have a cowlick, I get that, however I dislike when stylists leave the hair long in back to over compensate. I tell stylists to please cut my hair in the back the same length. If not, what usually happens is after 5weeks I end up with a lump of hair that I have to product down to stay. I prefer to not use product as my hair usually lays flat. I tried to explain that to Lee but she was not having it. At one point she grabbed my hair and pulled it up and said “your hair gonna stick straight up like that. Is that what you want?” I was looking at her like, omg. After going on about it she finally just said she wasn’t going to cut my hair in the back like that. I ended up going home, put an eight in my trimmer, and buzz my hair so that it’s the length that I want. So I basically paid almost $30 (yes I tipped) for a taper cut and a lot of attitude. I checked in and waited an hour and then received a text to head to the salon. I left for the salon and got stuck in a bit of traffic. When I showed up I was asked if I checked in, I told the girl yes but I no longer see my son’s name on the list. She said I had been kicked off. There was no text saying I was off the list, it just said running late, get to the salon as soon as you can. I asked if I needed to get back on the end of the list and with major attitude she told me they were full for the rest of the day. It’s very unfortunate as I liked this place and our previous stylist Harley. When I asked to speak to the manager and asked her name she continued to give me attitude about no manger in and she won’t tell me her name.
