Retro Bowl — Attraction in Liberty

Dont go here. Upon arrival, the first thing i noticed was when i was tying the shoes i'd rented. The laces were all wet which i later realized was because they were caked in food grease. There is food grease everywhere in that place. Its in all the balls too. Next i ordered nachos. The concession staff were visibly fighting and slamming doors on each other and arguing about who would take my order. It took forever. They also kept saying they were out of ingredients to things only to avoid having to make anything. Finally i was able to order nachos. Later i found out it was bcuz 1 of them wasnt even on the clock and didnt want to clock back in and the other ones didnt know how to do anything. Ordered a drink and 2 orders of nachos. After he swiped my card, the cashier alarmingly says "omg" and starts calling the other 2 over to look at receipts. They still had my card and were whisperimg amongst themselves. I there was a problem with my card or something so i said whats going on. The guy said "nothing" and goes back to whispering. And minutes had gone by with me waiting sitting there so i said "ok, then can i have my card?" And he said, "oh its still processing" it was taking forever. They were just frantically oggling at the recipts. Finally they gave back my card and i inquired what the hold up was. The cashier told me that they accidentally charged a different customer $640.00 instead of $6.40. It appeared this customer had already left the building. So instead of making my food, they started solving that issue. The food took forever. They didnt make my drink on the spot. I went back later for my food. The nachos were burnt and didnt have salsa. I asked about it and they told me they were out of it without going back to check. The nachos themselves were burnt and they barely gave us any chips for having spent 5$ a piece. They forgot my drink. I had to request that again but the cashier kept wanting to interact with others as if i wasnt there. I think they might have all been high or hungover. We bowled 2 games and at 1 point our lane didnt set up all the pins as it was supposed to. The workers didnt know how to fix it so they reluctantly moved us to a lane which we found out also didnt work so they switched us again. Overall bad experience....

Avoid this place at all cost. I looked for several bowling alleys that were family friendly as I was trying to take my children out for a special occasion with some friends. There website repeats family fun.

We went for the Monday night unlimited bowl and the staff were very rude, but had no idea what they were doing. They couldn't tell us a price without talking to the manager or figure out how to set up the lanes. When asked if the employee was new, they state they had been there for several months.

When on your lane in the background there are what looks like projector screens playing music videos. Unfortunately most music videos they play are anything but family friendly as very provocative videos and songs are played that are certainly not for children. At 9:30 more bowlers showed up and then the turned the volume of the music way up to the point you feel like your at a club.

When asked to turn down the volume as children are here they laughed and said they have no control over the volume, but 5 minutes later increased the volume at the request of the other bowlers.

At 9:30 they closed their kitchen and even though the signs say their kitchen is open. All of their staff was in the dinning area eating several different items from the menu at around 10:00, but we were constantly told the kitchen is closed.

We wanted to speak to a Manger as this was poor business practice, and after 20 minutes she showed up. She looked like she had been sleeping and a strong odor of alcohol was on her breathe. After 2p minutes she refunded our money, but kept demanding for us to listen to what she was saying.

Went on a Saturday night was super busy and overall quality was poor. First we attempted to reserve a lane but told it was first come first serve but they had lanes opening at 8. So we show up about 745 and get on the list. We hadn't had dinner so we went into the restaurant area. We ordered our food and begun our wait. Granted we were a larger party the food still took about an hour. One of our orders didn't get their food. They talked to the staff and were told they ran out of patties and had to get more, we understand stuff happens and continue to wait. We then hear over the intercoms that another person's order was ready and it was a burger. We get a little upset but think hey, maybe they ordered first, so continue to wait and hear more burgers come out so had another chat. They ultimately ended up refunding the money but even that was wrong and had to get a correction. But we didn't come here to eat but bowl. So we finally get two lanes at 10 pm. This was 2hrs and 15 mins of waiting by the way. We start to get our shoes on and they are slimy and wet from the previous use. We grab some balls off the rack but their insides are detached from the outer shell causing them to roll extremely weird. We then bowl and it was okay for a while. Our machine would occasionally just sit there and spin until we hit the reset button. Overall the atmosphere was okay but the service and quality of the establishment was disappointing. Also I know it's an Saturday and late, but some of those music videos were extremely graphic. Was a little weird being there with family while they...
