Fogarty Creek Beach — Attraction in Lincoln City

Fogarty Creek State Park is a wonderful public beach on the Central Oregon Coast. There are two pathways that lead to the beach, and each pathway is on a different side of the creek. There's no Bridge across the creek, so if you one pathway and decide you want to go to the other side of the creek, you either have to cross the creek (which can be slick if you were crossing where there are rocks in the creek, knock you off your feet if the flow is decent) real have to backtrack towards the parking lot and take the other path. Still, it doesn't take backtrack if you need to go that route, and there are beautiful views here regardless of which pathway you take. I've been going to this Friday my entire life, my parents used to take me here when I was a little kid and now I go here a lot with my wife and son. There aren't really any bad beaches on the Oregon coast, so just pick one...

Fogarty is one of the coolest spots of beach in the area in my opinion. It's a little small overall but it's layout and unique steep incline into the water on one side gives it something other beaches don't have. The (clarion) Inn up above is a great place to stay as well. The park leading out to the beach is full of beauty and picture quality scenery all around. They have plenty of benches and open space to host larger events and even have bathrooms on site that seem decently maintained. It's a perfect place for a getaway with family or just to relax and enjoy the beauty of the Oregon coast. You are close to towns as well so you can usually get the items you need a for the day without going far. And you cannot beat the sunset views with the rock on one side or just open space on the other. I definitely recommend spending a day here enjoying the area if...

The Oregon coast as many many spots to pull over on highway 101 and enjoy the beauty that is the Pacific Ocean... From a rocky shore to pure sand that looks like driven snow, there are so many different complexions along the coastline. I myself enjoy Fogarty Creek wayside. You pull in plenty of parking no need to park your expensive car dangling on the highway in the dirt. Grab your stuff we put hours in our collapsible wagon and load it with the ice chest chairs and whatever we need and travel to the beach, find the perfect spot, and taking the Sun enjoy the Oregon coastline like no other spot on the planet. I highly recommend Fogarty Creek Beach, there is plenty of room for everybody and what I truly like from the time at fogerty, people are wonderfully nice, everybody's in a good mood, and the kindness and smiles are everywhere.
