Update: it took two complaints to corporate to get the general manager to email me as basically tell us tough! The staff not the manager care about customer service! I’ll give my money to their competition!
Original review: The concession staff at this location need to look up the definition of customer service. We as paying customers clearly were bothering them and making them work when we arrived at 445 pm and asked for 3 hot dogs, nachoes, pretzel bits and two sodas. They were upset that they had to cook the hotdogs, and threw some major attitude. The couple in front of us orered hot dogs as well and the guy said well, we will have to microwave them since they arent ready. Once they were done ordering we stepped up and ordered ours and the guy turned around and said I wish I would have known this a min ago, I could have done more. Um excuse me sir but it wasn't my turn to order. We stil ended up waiting 7 mins for microwaved hotdogs. Extreamly disappoint to spend $45 on this food and get treated like we are...
Read moreYou know why I love Edgewood Cinema? I've gone there forever, feels like home. It's not remodeled, which makes people not want to go. Because of this they don't make as much money, and they can't remodel. You know what though? I don't want them to remodel because if they do it becomes way more expensive and I'm poor. I don't care if it's comfy I just want to watch a new movie with popcorn and a soda and my family and friends. Sure there's some staff that's gonna be rude, that's life though...gotta learn how to deal with those people someday, I know Edgewood cinema has taught me at least that. And that you have to be with an adult that's 21 years or older if you want to watch a rated R movie. And that you have to be 17 to do so by yourself. Hope this helped? Hope you guys like it there too, we all know that you guys had to deal with uncomfortable seats at one point in time, all of the Marcus Theaters had them....just this time it's $5-7 per...
Read moreThis is the theater I go to the most in Lincoln, because it has the best prices. I don't like paying extra for bigger screens, louder speakers, and fancy seats. I don't need any of that, I just want a clean and reasonably comfortable theater to watch movies in. And this place has that. I did take off a star because the aesthetic is a little dated (it screams late 80s/early 90s to me), and because in one of the screening rooms there was an actual cricket doing it's thing during like a whole movie, which can be a little annoying. I like crickets when they're outside, but not when they're in a theater with me.
I would also like it if they added a cafe to their concessions area, for pastries and coffee beverages. I like to go in the mornings and don't want popcorn and fountain drinks then. I would totally buy a scone and...
