Firehouse Subs Edgewood — Restaurant in Lincoln

Stopped in for a quick and cheap dinner after work. WOW!!!! I was blown away by everything. The service was great, everyone was friendly and personable -- especially Kalob, the place was clean, and don't even get me started on the food. Ordered a NY Steamer and made up my decision to grab this for lunch tomorrow afternoon...VERY DELICIOUS. I have at least that to look forward to tomorrow despite an almost guaranteed hectic day at work, lol. The other menu items look pretty good but I will have to give those a try next.

I work in the area so it's so nice to have such a better option that's within driving distance than McDonald's, Taco John's or Sonic. “Outstanding Subs and Great Service!” I visited Firehouse Subs recently, and I was thoroughly impressed! The subs were delicious—perfectly fresh ingredients, toasted bread, and generous portions. I tried the Hook & Ladder, and it was flavorful with just the right balance of smoked turkey and ham.

The staff was friendly and efficient, making sure my order was exactly how I wanted it. I also love that they support firefighters and local communities; it makes every visit feel like you’re contributing to a good cause.

We stopped in for lunch while we were traveling cross country with our two little ones and the owner (I regret that I did not get his name) was so warm and welcoming to them (even though they were a little rambunctious from being in the car all day). He gave them stickers and firefighter hats and gave us some tips for the menu. Our meal was great but service was even better. He checked in with us multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed. It has been quite a while since I have experienced customer service like this and it was such a treat!
