Dear Mr Patel,
Your hotel needs some work, I would not return.
At arrival we were downgraded due to our room type being oversold and the front desk agent presented it to us like she was doing us a favor. She said "well, at least you get a room! Sometimes having two beds is nice because you can have space." Lady, I don't want space and my own bed, I want a king bed to share with my lady. I'm not really mad about the downgrade, I'm mad at the time deaf attitude from your desk agent.
The bed was one of the worst Hampton Inn beds, hard like a board with the shittiest sheets I can imagine.
There were dried food stains in the elevator when we arrived, three days later upon departure I noticed they were still there. A bag of trash sat in front of someone's room our whole stay, too. Have you considered hiring a housekeeping staff?
There's no seal around the door in our room and I could hear everything in the hallway and adjacent rooms. The tribe of people leaving at 345 am the morning after a football game felt like a defensive line breaking down my door. There are obnoxious guests at every hotel who do this but usually I wouldn't notice because of, well, you know, soundproofing and door seals.
Finally, the whole place smells like mildew.
My expectations are higher.
Edit: the argumentative response is a special kind of validation for me. You can't find a reservation under my name because it was under my girlfriend's, so rather than starting an argument take the feedback and try...
Read moreThis hotel deserves 5 stars and more! I was hesitant on paying what I did for 2 nights, BUT, it was well worth it! I asked for one of their quietest rooms because I needed to study for one of the biggest tests of my life. AND GUESS WHAT?! I PASSED! (I think a lot of it was because I had a decent night of quiet studying from the night before. Really, I should have slept more but was more worried about cramming as much as I could into my brain.)
This hotel was so accommodating, they gave me what I requested, one of their quietest rooms! This was really important especially during the first night, like I said, I needed the quiet to cram all the knowledge into my mind. The 2nd night, there was a couple that was a bit noisy but when it was time to sleep, they were completely quiet. I REALLY enjoyed my stay here. Everything was SO CLEAN and COMFORTABLE! The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever had in a hotel.
They even have a great spread of breakfast items and they were different the two days I went! I can't express in words how much I loved my stay that I've recommended it to lots of other people! I loved how accommodating the staff and hotel were. They provide you with everything you need in the bathroom and your room. In the lobby they have cucumber water, coffee, tea and WARM cookies! They even have a gym and swimming pool which I didn't have time to enjoy but I would stay here again! I highly recommend this place if you need a clean, quiet and relaxing...
Read moreParfum de Moule... Eww. Consider this a public service announcement. We stayed here as a matter of convenience based on the previous experiences of family members.
Several rooms were booked during this stay (October 2025). My room was quite average, another room had visible water damage and pervasive mold perfume. The hallways were similarly perfumed, but the star of the mold show extravaganza seemed to be the workout room. Fast forwarding to the morning we found the breakfast experience to be equally gross. The warmish protein choices consisted of rubberized (western)omelette-shaped items or desiccated sausage pucks. The coffee was just not good. Milk, juice and pre-packaged cereal were the reasonable alternatives. For those who may enjoy unsolicited morning companionship, the verbose attendant will definitely tickle your fancy. The next morning we found breakfast at a nearby restaurant.
To answer the obvious corporate defensive query as to whether these deficiencies were reported to management, I submit that management could see, smell and taste all of the above. I was not looking for a handout nor any derisive attention.
In summation, Hampton Inn Lincoln-South/Heritage Park needs to fix their water damage, abate their mold hazard, and eliminate or revamp their breakfast menagerie. Until all of the foregoing occurs, I recommend you stay...
