I was greeted by Dawn and Luke and Frank 🤣 (pictured) with welcoming smiles. They helped me check in and waited patiently while I signed in online to get the lower price. Masks were required during our stay due to Covid-19. The hallway smelled wonderful of some kind of warm welcoming fragrance. They offered free cookies. Frank had a nice variety of Halloween candy. The continental breakfast had a nice variety. The coffee was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed had the right amount of soft and firm mattress with cozy comforters and pillows. It seems that they are really going above and beyond to clean their rooms and the items within. Our room was a double queen and had a decent size TV, fridge and microwave. The shower had nice water pressure. They offered a nice variety of shampoo, soap and lotion and said if we forgot anything they had some items at the front desk. The pool was warm and hot tub was warmer. Both were a nice size. Our overall stay was comfortable and relaxing. I would stay here again and recommend for my friends or family to stay here.

An updated review for my second stay here. First and foremost the staff here are wonderful. In example...I always mention in the comments online, I like to stay on the top floor. I have never had many hotel act like they have seen this request when I ask for a room on the upper floor. When I asked upon checking in around 1500 the 3rd of June, the front desk clerk told me, I saw that request and already have a top floor room ready for you! Thank you very much, I wish I could remember her name so I could let everyone know but, I am lousy with names. I thoroughly enjoyed this four night stay and everything was well maintained as I mentioned in my past review. The staff here are very friendly, knowledgable, and helpful. I inquired about nearby eateries and they had suggestions for just about any pallete. The facilities and grounds were very well kept and my room was very clean and tidy, including the bathroom. This location is nestled off a main road with plenty of places to eat and shop nearby and easy to get in and out of. Thank you.

The hotel itself was beautiful from the outside to the halls to the rooms. Everything was put together and clean, when I walked into my room, the first thing I noticed was that my TV was personalized and was showing a greeting with my name. The gym was nice, small, but nice. Not many hotels spring for a Peleton bike from my experience. However they did not have a cleaning spray bottle to wipe down the machines when you're done. The water pressure was wonderful so the shower afterwards was amazing. Now, while I did sleep well, in my opinion I believe the beds were a little too hard. My back will be feeling that later... Also, it's extremely close to wonderful restaurants, and coincidentally, the jobsite I was working at. With all that being said, it was a well worth it experience as it wasn't too pricy! P.S. the breakfast menu was amazing, alongside the waffles that most hotels have, they had wonderful omelets, seasoned hash browns and sausage!

Dear Mr Patel,

Your hotel needs some work, I would not return.

At arrival we were downgraded due to our room type being oversold and the front desk agent presented it to us like she was doing us a favor. She said "well, at least you get a room! Sometimes having two beds is nice because you can have space." Lady, I don't want space and my own bed, I want a king bed to share with my lady. I'm not really mad about the downgrade, I'm mad at the time deaf attitude from your desk agent.

The bed was one of the worst Hampton Inn beds, hard like a board with the shittiest sheets I can imagine.

There were dried food stains in the elevator when we arrived, three days later upon departure I noticed they were still there. A bag of trash sat in front of someone's room our whole stay, too. Have you considered hiring a housekeeping staff?

There's no seal around the door in our room and I could hear everything in the hallway and adjacent rooms. The tribe of people leaving at 345 am the morning after a football game felt like a defensive line breaking down my door. There are obnoxious guests at every hotel who do this but usually I wouldn't notice because of, well, you know, soundproofing and door seals.

Finally, the whole place smells like mildew.

My expectations are higher.

Edit: the argumentative response is a special kind of validation for me. You can't find a reservation under my name because it was under my girlfriend's, so rather than starting an argument take the feedback and try...

This hotel deserves 5 stars and more! I was hesitant on paying what I did for 2 nights, BUT, it was well worth it! I asked for one of their quietest rooms because I needed to study for one of the biggest tests of my life. AND GUESS WHAT?! I PASSED! (I think a lot of it was because I had a decent night of quiet studying from the night before. Really, I should have slept more but was more worried about cramming as much as I could into my brain.)

This hotel was so accommodating, they gave me what I requested, one of their quietest rooms! This was really important especially during the first night, like I said, I needed the quiet to cram all the knowledge into my mind. The 2nd night, there was a couple that was a bit noisy but when it was time to sleep, they were completely quiet. I REALLY enjoyed my stay here. Everything was SO CLEAN and COMFORTABLE! The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever had in a hotel.

They even have a great spread of breakfast items and they were different the two days I went! I can't express in words how much I loved my stay that I've recommended it to lots of other people! I loved how accommodating the staff and hotel were. They provide you with everything you need in the bathroom and your room. In the lobby they have cucumber water, coffee, tea and WARM cookies! They even have a gym and swimming pool which I didn't have time to enjoy but I would stay here again! I highly recommend this place if you need a clean, quiet and relaxing...

Parfum de Moule... Eww. Consider this a public service announcement. We stayed here as a matter of convenience based on the previous experiences of family members.

Several rooms were booked during this stay (October 2025). My room was quite average, another room had visible water damage and pervasive mold perfume. The hallways were similarly perfumed, but the star of the mold show extravaganza seemed to be the workout room. Fast forwarding to the morning we found the breakfast experience to be equally gross. The warmish protein choices consisted of rubberized (western)omelette-shaped items or desiccated sausage pucks. The coffee was just not good. Milk, juice and pre-packaged cereal were the reasonable alternatives. For those who may enjoy unsolicited morning companionship, the verbose attendant will definitely tickle your fancy. The next morning we found breakfast at a nearby restaurant.

To answer the obvious corporate defensive query as to whether these deficiencies were reported to management, I submit that management could see, smell and taste all of the above. I was not looking for a handout nor any derisive attention.

In summation, Hampton Inn Lincoln-South/Heritage Park needs to fix their water damage, abate their mold hazard, and eliminate or revamp their breakfast menagerie. Until all of the foregoing occurs, I recommend you stay...
