We are having issues with 2 England brand sofas we took delivery of at the end of January 2023 (mainly rippling fabric after just a couple weeks) We've had a lot of back and forth for almost a year now with the Crest Customer Service Manager on the sofas we purchased which are obviously having issues. I have asked to speak to a store manager or owner. But, after reading a couple reviews online, I'm thinking others have had similar issues with their furniture purchased at Crest. Our situation is not resolved yet. It's now almost the end of 2023! About halfway through dealing with Crest Customer Care on this, I asked to speak to the Store Manager or owner. Never received a call and apparently don't care to deal with a customer to find out what's happening that would make a customer ask for them, which I have repeatedly.
I've been told that most requests we have made are not "England's policy". My next contact will be with England directly. I was willing to pick something else out until the neglect by the store manager/owner became very apparent. He/she just doesn't care or there's something "off" in this whole picture.
I was finally told, after pushing the issue, that there is no "store manager" in either of their 2 stores. I was also told the owner's name is "Jake" and literally had to pull that out of the customer service rep over the phone. I asked for his last name and all she said was "he's the only Jake here". What's the big secret? I've never, ever had a store manager or owner NOT contact me if I had a question or asked to speak to them. At this point, we are fed up and want a refund. These sofas started having issues before they were even a month old!
I enjoy writing positive reviews much more than writing one. "Jake" can't contact his customer?? That's really, really sad and very unprofessional. When I emailed England corporate, I got an almost immediate phone call from the area Rep Supervisor and he is taking this seriously and working with us. I so appreciate his customer service skills and...
Read moreI have bought much of my furniture for my new place here with the excellent help of designer AnnaMarie. Love the fabrics we picked out together and have gotten many compliments on our choices. Their prices are the best and they carry most manufacturers. Check them out before you purchase.
Update 2024. Unfortunately my furniture from Flexsteel that i bought at Crest did not hold up. I spent another $500 stuffing the upright cushions with mire dense cushions. After a couple of years i put this sectional in my basement and had to buy a $5400 sectional at Penny mustard that has held up very nicely. Crest Furniture nor Flexsteel did nothing to resolve my problem. Flexsteel was once a very quality, reputable company but like so many has gone...
Read moreI upgraded the upholstery, but I found the weaving minimal which made the fabric look and feel cheap. The cusions use an uncomfortable and cheap filling that makes the seat cushions rounded and uncomfortable. I have now had the couch for 2 years and it looks older than my inexpensive carsons couch did at 7 years. I keep waiting for the day I can replace it. I would deal with the fabric better if they would just use better seat foam. I decided to write this review after seeing a couch at a mid-range hotel. The fabric weave was much tighter on that couch and the entire couch was a lot more comfortable. My couch should be...
