Los Burritos Tapatios — Restaurant in Lisle

We have been loyal customers for over a year ordering 1-2 times a week. Overlooking the fact that the girl who answers the phone is rude with zero basic politeness, and hangs up on you, the food has went downhill. We have noticed lots of inconsistency with our meals the last few months and today was our last order. Immediately opening the container my husband and I looked at each other because of a bad smell. We thought ok, maybe the cheese had a smell when cooked. Nope, our burritos were horrible. In one bite I tasted the same horrible taste that I smelled. Something is bad, rotten, or old. Not sure. But in the trash it went. Our side of guacamole and chips were also horrible. The guacamole was old, not fresh, mostly turning brown and had a large hardened piece of avocado that took up most of the container, took one bite off the top and it was also tasteless. First time I've been at Los Burritos Tapatios since I moved near downtown Naperville almost 7 years ago. It's only 2 miles away from me! Ordered a ground beef burrito with everything, and sour cream. Prices on the menu have changed since someone else's pictures on the Google site so I took a few of the current menu. Masks are optional for patrons tho all of the Staff wear them.

My burrito was fantastic. I like hot sauce (that's one reason why I asked for sour cream) and there was ample amount of it put in the bag. The ingredients all were fresh. This included nicely sliced plumb tomatoes, lettuce and cheese. I ate it too fast to notice if there was anything else like avacado! LOL! The sour cream was evenly distributed down the length of it as well.

The Staff is very friendly. There was somewhat of a rush on customers as 4 turned into 12 pretty quickly. The wait was absolutely normal for such a situation and wasn't really long at all.

I'll absolutely be returning to Los Burritos Tapatios again to try...

This is my sincere advice to the owner; owner, if you are reading this, you need to do something about your employees. They are extremely unprofessional and will run your business to the ground if they continue to behave in the manner they do every time I visit the Lisle location, specially in front of customers. I will NOT go back to this place. The employees provide really bad service and seem like they don't even care. I called to place an order ahead of time and when I drove there to pick up my order the lady didn't even got my order started so I had to sit there and wait. Then, they try to play off like am stupid and made me wait while they started to prepare my food. This is not the first I had problems with the person. In addition, they are joking around while people are in the restaurant in a manner that made me very uncomfortable.
