Park On The River — Attraction in Little Rock

Frankly, the rating depends on your preferences. It is tucked away from traffic, one lane access, and somewhat secluded from the rest of the parks in the Maumelle area. There is a great boat ramp with free, easy access to the Arkansas River. It even has a floating dock that is in good condition that is easy to get to and well suited for fishing. However, even though there is plenty of space, there is but one picnic table. Seriously, one picnic table for the entire area (see photo highlighted by the yellow arrow for its location). No real trails to speak of and very limited amenities...no bathrooms, playground, etc. In short, this is a beautiful park, but with a great deal of wasted space. Beautiful area on the Arkansas River with a boat ramp & parking area. I found it on Google Maps but never knew it was there til then. The sunset over the water was breathtaking! A lovely little lunch time park is what I call this. The trail is short but you can definitely stretch your legs and get a few steps in.
