China taste (Maumelle) — Restaurant in North Little Rock

I really wanted it to be good. We just moved here and live very close. It is not horrible. There seems to be something missing in every dish. Anytime and usually anywhere, food from Chinese get and go places like this, they are pretty much the same. You can count on consistency. I don't know how to rate it really. We spent 70 bucks. That is usual for us. The flavors were just not there. Crab Rangoon are good. The lo-mien was okayish, bordering on no thank you. The Mongolian beef was okay. The hot and sour soup, we took one bite and threw it out. I cant even begin to describe what that was but it was not hot and sour soup. It wasn't even soup, it was gelatinous. It really sucks because it is so close to our house. Also, what is up with the to-go containers? The compartments, just did not feel like the same amount of food like...

Much better than the New Asian in Maumelle but other reviews report "missing flavour", it tastes bland. I agree. The only thing I actually eat here and eat a lot of is the coconut shrimp. Otherwise the service here is good but it makes me uneasy that latino people are cooking Asian food.
