Park is mostly fields of sunflowers and preserved for revegetation, but there are a few short trails that lead you to the edge with a beautiful view from which to watch the sun set. Bring a picnic, blanket, and/or camping chairs to sit back and enjoy the view. (Might also want to bring some bug spray as the mosquitos start looking for dinner around sunset as well).

I wouldn't call it a park. More an open space. When you want an amazing view of the hogbacks and mountains and the western skies above from Littleton this is the place. Bring your camera or telescope. There is parking along the road. No parking lot. The night I was there many people were there to see the conjunction or Christmas star. Plenty of room for all.

This place has an amazing view of the front range. It’s a small, open space that feels like a natural park. It’s a great place to take a quick break and enjoy the scenery. The only trails are dirt, so it’s not suitable for those who prefer paved paths. But don’t let that fool you - the view is one of the best in town!

I come here to watch the sunset and play my Native American flute. It's too crowded most times but sitting in my car is nice also. You can enjoy the sunset from anywhere here, it is wide open. You get a clear picture of the mountains and the sky line. I love the sunflowers here in the summer. It's so pretty. Nice photo...
