Stopped in for our first time and we were disappointed. Açaí bowls should not have shredded bits of plastic in them. We also ordered a coconut milk latte which was high in sugar but didn’t have any coffee in it. The staff hung out in the back and when we told them about the plastic they offered to make us another bowl. At that point we were grossed out that we ate plastic and not interested in another bowl. The atmosphere is nice. We understand it’s new so hopefully they get better at training staff on product quality and customer service.

*Adding a response to the business- Yes, we told the staff (it says it above in my review) and the staff told us the plastic came from the açaí packaging. They offered to remake the bowl, they did not offer a refund and we did not ask for one. We did not want another bowl. In regards to the latte- it was very sweet and we think they forgot to add the shot of espresso. It was like hot sweetened coconut milk, not like a latte. The people who helped us were friendly but the service was slow enough that the couple that came in after us left without ordering after waiting around a while. Also it was $40 for three smoothies, that's nuts.

Edit per owner response: we didn't have a bad experience, but I did want to share with others who might think as we did that this is a quick stop between errands. We had two 16oz (I think) cherry drinks and a gray smoothie that I can't remember the name of (berry something) that came to $37 and change. It was certainly more than we expected to pay, which is something that won't matter for everyone but matters for some. I mentioned the staff were friendly and there was nothing I would have complained about to them, I just think that visitors to the shop might want to know it's not a quick snack stop and it's pricier than some.
