Wynetka Dog Park is overall a great place to take your dog. There are two sections (one currently closed to allow for grass regrowth), the sections are large, so many dogs can be inside at a time and you have plenty of room to throw a ball. There are drinking fountains and dog dishes. In the center is a covered pavillion for a place for dog parents to sit. The side that is currently open had moist dirt after it rained, the only grass is towards the perimeter where it looks like some owners have neglected to pick up after their dogs. They are solving the moist dirt by closing the off one side to allow grass growth. There are multiple stations with dog poo bags and receptacles. There is also a walking trail should you decide you want some exercise too or take your dog on its own excursion. I went the day after it rained. Most people walked on the cinder walking trail likely due to the moist dirt (and one person commented lack of time), but still someone brought three dogs inside the dog park. It is a little walk from the parking lot to the fenced in dog section. Port-a-potty by the parking lot. It looks like someone used the patk as a hangout spot as there was some trash in the parking lot: box from cans and aluminum cans left on the ground. I have been to this parking lot before and the parking lot was clean and seems cared for overall and it still is by park staff responding to reviews. It is a great spot nuzzled into the city to have available to walk...

I like that this park has grass (which isn’t true of most dog parks). It’s also separated into two sections if you prefer to have your small dog separate from large dogs. One of the sections was closed for maintenance when we went and I am not sure when it will be back up. There are a few covered picnic areas and stand-alone benches as well (with plenty of trash cans for waste). There is only one pond nearby that isn’t connected to the dog space so I am unsure if the water is safe as it looks like a private retention pond.

It was nice and adequate for an outing. My dog had a smile on his face, for sure! I will say that the entrance for vehicles is hard to spot and doesn’t show up on Google Maps. It’s actually the first driveway on your left just past the gated drive to...

The park it’s self is wonderful my border collie loves going. After today incident we will not be returning. An old lady who always seems to be there with her 3 aggressive dogs does nothing when her husky was ATTACKING another husky barely 6 months old. Of course the owner of the victim dog hit the lady’s husky. All she had to say was “ don’t hit my dog” if you’re okay with people not watching their dog and allowing them to bite and growl at other animals walking by then by all means take your dog here. The lady makes no attempt to keep her dogs in check or apologizes. She is the reason a lot of people don’t feel safe taking their dog...

Kozmo gives Wynetka Ponds 5 TAILS UP! Located on the NW corner of Bowles and Lowell in Littleton, this park delivers a huge off-leash area for dogs to run and play together. The park is surrounded by scenic walking paths where you can get out and explore open space with your pup. Sufficiently stocked with all the basics this park's location, scenic water features, and rolling open space make this park as enjoyable as it is convenient. Highly recommend!

Usually when I go to this dog park, it’s great. But there are occasionally some very irresponsible dog owners who bring untrained dogs. This guys dog attacked mine. Oh, and then he wouldn’t say anything to my face afterward at the dog park, but screamed something from his car window as his girlfriend drove him away 😂- JUST BE ON THE LOOKOUT. Here’s a picture of him, his dog and car so you all can be aware.
