I came in to bring my two dogs to get their nails trimed and it was a daster from the start. I called a week ahead and they apparently but me down for washes when I said nail trim I went in to pick up treats and talked to them about it and they changed my appointment. I walked in and there were 3 people at the front desk and I didn’t know where to go because it was my first time and they were all looking at me and after a few minutes asked what I was in for. Shouldn’t you ask right away what the client needs? They brought me back to the area and a young woman walked out and said oh let’s just do it on the floor here..( every time I’ve taken my dogs to get their nails trimmed they bring them to the back and I wait for them) not in this case I was struggling because my puppy was so energetic and my other dog was afraid and she basically asked me to hold both of them at the same time as she tried and clipped my one dogs nails as she was freaking out the first dog yelped and was afraid and the second dog I knew she missed his last paw and I told her that and she said no I already did it and I know for a fact because his Paw was on my leg as I was holding him. I knew she just wanted to be done with my dogs. I got home and looked at all of their nails and there was a paw they missed from my second dog and he also had cracks in his nails and I have pictures to prove that they just try to do it and not do it and she rushed and same with my other dog. Instantly when they started on the floor I wanted to walk out but I was afraid this is not a place you take your dog to get groomed I even heard a dog in the background crying and I think he was being washed or whatever was going on this is the third time I’ve been there and no one seems like they care or respect anybody that walks in the door. All of their nails are different sizes .. I would definitely give this...
Read moreWhere do I start with this review. Garden of the Paws is an amazing experience and is well stocked with goodies for your 4-legged friends. When I walked in there back in December, I was frustrated that things weren’t going well with my kitties. I explained what I was feeding them and Blake immediately said, you should change their diet. I agreed and he had me change from the food I was feeding them to a grain free, limited ingredient canned food and dry food. He also suggested a plant-based litter that had no dust and was so much lighter than the litter I was using. Wow!!! What an amazing change in my cats. There wasn’t anymore throw-up, their fur was silky, where as before, it was matted. The virus, one of cats has, suddenly was less impactful to her. And because of the change of litter, her asthma was much improved. Blake is wonderfully patient and genuinely wants to help you. He is extremely knowledgeable about all that he sells and is all about getting your pets happy and healthy. If I haven’t sung Blake’s praises enough, I told him my 5 cats needed a nail trim and the vet was too expensive. He offered to come to my home and clip their nails, so I didn’t have to transport all 5 cats to his salon- located inside his wonderful store. The price was so reasonable and I couldn’t thank him enough. If you love your pets like family, this is the store for you. The staff makes you feel like you are part of their family and help you figure out the problem Naturally. Go to Garden of the Paws. Change your life and the life...
Read moreWe first heard about Garden of the paws on a Facebook group asking for good groomers. We tried it out and we love them! We have a Shih tzu puppy and an 8 year old Newfie mix. The Shih tzu gets groomed by Anna and looks and smells amazing! She doesn’t come back shaking or seeming scared after being groomed. They put cute little bows in her hair. We don’t get the Newfie groomed we do it ourselves at the self wash stations they have in the store. The self wash stations are so cool, the blurbs move up and down so you don’t have to lift your pet to get them in or out or be hunched over to bath them. The sprayer is in an arch shape to wet more of the dog, the hair dryer is INCLUDED in the wash and you use it while the dog is still in the tub! No moving to different rooms to dry your soggy pup that keeps shaking and lift the dog up onto a counter to dry. The store is very clean and organized. They have good quality food and treats. You can tell the owner and employees love animals. The employees are very helpful. The owner is very friendly. He offered my husband a free bag of food to try but my husband refused so the owner can make money on his new store. They have 3 or 4 hairless cats that you can see or pet if you ask. I’m not a cat person but I thought they were cool. I cannot recommend Garden of the paws enough. I am a returning customer who sings their praises to anyone who is looking for pet products...
