I normally like shopping at DSW, however had a odd experience at this store. I went in for help with an exchange/purchase and the first associate that I interacted was very helpful; she helped me find the shoe in the size that I needed and let me know about their current promotions. Later when I went to the register, a different gentleman helped with check out, and continuously refused to apply the store promotion going on. The original associate was telling him from a few registers down to apply the promo and even asked the manager, but he kept staring at me and saying ânoâ, not trying to help. It was very off putting and quite uncomfortable. I ended going to another DSW later in the day where an associate was able to easily help me and make an adjustment.    Read moreI love how well arranged this store is.I often find show gems that I was not expecting too. But the best thing about this store is the staff. Most I have come in contact with are males. They greet and are extremely helpful. My best experience had been with Eli! He is a super star and very knowledgeable. I was out to find my bff a shoe gift. As I was approaching the register I came across something for myself. But at the last minute decided against it. Eli helped me see why this was a good buy but also an attractive shoe. I said youâre a good salesperson and he replied no Iâm just doing my job.lol. He had a gift! He is an awesome people person. I thought he was the manager or supervisor!!! He should be.    Read moreI was very dissatisfied about the check out process. I walked up to the counter, I was the only one by the registers so I wasn't sure which register to go to. He looked at me (no verbal greeting) and pointed to a register. I he rung up my shoes, handed him the coupon and he finished the transaction still without saying anything. He didn't check the shoes to see if they were the same size which they usually do. I was very disappointed in the lack of "customer service" I was given.
