Livingston Public Library — Attraction in Livingston

Nice place to study at times, but the circulation on the back right from the entrance door- at times tends to get a little loud and cute and talk out loud with some guests or possibly personally know them not good while you preparing for a major exam sitting against the window in one of the small desk an can hear there whole conversation. I would prefer them to stop and if a lengthy conversation is needed then they should have it in the front entrance or at the front circulation desk for this is supposed to be one of the premium library in essex County so...

This library is an absolute treasure. I started going because my local library is small (I do love it also), and after going to 4 or 5 other libraries I learned Livingston has the hugest large print collection. My Mom ( in her 90’s) reads at least a book or 2 weekly but needs LP. It’s a wonderful and welcoming environment with an outstanding collection of every type of books, research, periodicals etc. I’m definitely a libraryaholic and this one is my favorite of the 5 or 6...

It’s my first time coming to this library, I got exam on Monday so I needed a quiet and peaceful place from the house to learn….. the place is great to be at but to be honest, they make noise too much… I could hear the receptionist talking from where I was sitting, been switching places since I came here over And over… everyone seems to be talking about Something wherever I sit in, it’s a library for crying out...
