On my recent visit to Livingston, NJ, I was delighted to learn that Urban Scoop is so much more than your average run-of-the-mill icecream parlor! They offer a wide variety of icecream flavors, from birthday cake to ube, to black sesame. I had the opportunity to sample several flavors and there really wasn't a bad choice. If you are a coffee lover, the coffee icecream is a must! The rich coffee flavor coupled with delectable creaminess is truly amazing. Their icecream is locally made, and their commitment to producing high quality icecream was evident in every flavor I tasted.
While enjoying my coffee icecream I had the pleasure of watching them prepare a waffle cookie creation from scratch (I think its called GZ cookie, but I might be wrong about that). The aroma of the waffle being made was a treat in itself, and the final dish presentation was a masterpiece.
For the quality and variety offered, i believe the prices here are very reasonable. The store is family owned and operated, and everyone was very nice. Also, there is ample free parking available. Urban Scoop definitely checks all of my boxes for the ideal icecream parlor. I highly recommend them, and I'll definitely...
Read moref you're a dessert lover, Urban Scoop is an absolute must-visit! I tried their signature Hong Kong-style bubble waffle loaded with three vibrant scoops of ice cream, and it was hands down one of the best desserts I've ever had.
Each scoop had its own unique flavor, rich and creamy with just the right amount of sweetness. The bubble waffle was warm, crisp on the outside, and fluffy inside — the perfect contrast to the cold ice cream. And the drizzle of chocolate sauce on top? Pure magic. 😋
Not only was the dessert a showstopper in taste, but it looked like a piece of art — colorful, indulgent, and photo-ready. The staff was friendly, the place was clean and cozy, and the overall experience was just fantastic.
⭐ A+ for creativity, flavor, and presentation. Highly recommended if you're...
Read moreMy daughter and I discovered Urban Scoop on a whim after visiting the zoo. What good luck! We both agreed they have some of the best flavors we’ve tasted in the area.
They have some flavors you’ll find many places (mint chocolate chip, salted caramel, mango) and some that are less common (masala chai, black sesame, ube cookie dough). Everything we tried was delicious. We ended up with guava cheesecake, birthday special, and strawberry donut. On a return visit I had the masala chai and my wife surprised herself by ordering both chocolate forest and cookie fudge and cream.
The store has a chill vibe with some tables and couches for seating. It’s fun to support a new small business in the area. Definitely add this to your summer ice cream rotation....
