It's a shame that I have to give this business one star because the people do seem very nice and initially I did have a good feeling. I placed my order on May 1st to be picked up on May 28th. It was a small order and I did pay for it at the time I ordered it. I arrived on May the 29th for pick up and it was not ready. I said I would return the next day which I did and my order still was not ready. She offered to deliver it to my home but I said I would come back the next day. On the 3rd day I arrived and my order was partially ready, and she tried to get me to except some other stars that I did not order because the order wasn't ready. I said I'm not in a hurry so I'll call you later and pick it up when you have it finished. I called her later and she didn't answer the phone so I left a message to find out if it was done. I received a return call and message when the store was closing for the evening telling me my order was ready. I went to the shop on Saturday morning to pick up my order and it wasn't ready even though I was told it was ready. It was ready but not what I ordered. She promised to deliver it to my home after 3 o'clock later that day. 3 o'clock came and went and no delivery. I texted her and left a message at her business and I also sent something via her website telling her that I've never felt so unimportant in my life. I was trying to be understanding throughout the entire experience because she told me she was going through some very difficult personal problems and I did not want to be difficult. I never was angry with her or gave her greif. I am angry now because I realize in hindsight that she never had the items that I ordered to give me. I also realized that she had no idea what I ordered. She actually showed up at my house the day of the baby shower I was giving with again only part of what I ordered. She also gave me $10 of my money back but what I ordered cost more than that She also tried to give me cardboard stars as a substitute again, even though I already told her before that I did not want them. I AM MOST UPSET ABOUT THE FACT THAT SHE WAS NOT HONEST WITH ME ABOUT HER INABILITY TO FILL MY ORDER. If she had told me Wednesday that she couldn't fulfill my order I still had time to try to find what I needed elsewhere but she never gave me that chance because she couldn't tell me the truth even on the day of my event!!! I would not recommend this store during the busy time of the year when everybody is celebrating which is typically from early May until about October. I feel like during difficulties in your life if you run your own business you should have a plan in place to take care of your customers regard less of what is going on. I saw 1 other 1 star rating from a person that came to the shop during normal business hours and it was closed. The owner responded that" sometimes they have to do deliveries." A well run business would have staff at the store during all business hours to answer the phone and help the customers with pickup and ordering .I really feel like I should have been offered a complete refund for all of the trips that I made to the store and the stress that it put on me going into what was supposed to be a very happy occasion. It also upsets me to see someone else who had their order fulfilled during the same time frame as me give a 5 star review because they were so thrilled with their order… HOW DO YOU FORGET THE SAME CUSTOMERS 6 TIMES.IN 5 DAYS AND HAVE NO PROBLEM TAKING CARE OF EVERYONE ELSE! Every time I went to the shop I was given the excuse of not being able to think straight as the reason for my order not being ready. While that may have been true, I believe that she lost my order form , did not order what she needed, and then could not get it by the time that I needed it but she refused to admit it. Read moreI was unfortunately disappointed with the service. I came in and asked for a character balloon a few days prior to our party. The women we spoke to showed us the one she had and said she had a much larger one as well. I showed interest and said i was looking for the larger one so she began to look for the balloon. After 2 or 3 minutes she said she was not able to find it but that she would make a note to locate it and have it ready with my other balloon on my pick up day. I agreed even though at this point I didnt even know what the larger one looked like. Our pick up day came and when my mother arrived to pick up our order the women told her she could not locate the larger balloon. I am disappointed they did not call to let us know this as we would have canceled our entire order. This place is 15 minutes from us and we only ordered the 2 balloons. It was not worth the drive for us for one tiny balloon. They should have called prior to and let us know they could not fulfill our order as planned. I will not...
Read moreI visited for the first time today for some balloons for my son’s third birthday. I had my 4 year old daughter with me. When we walked in we were warmly greeted by Joan, the owner. I had brought in a couple of balloons from home that I wanted filled and she did that for a very reasonable price. I’m writing this review though because the service we received was so personalized and above and beyond. Joan treated my daughter who was with me like royalty. She let her come behind the counter to help her inflate our balloons, my 4 year old LOVED this and kept talking about it for the remainder of the day. We also purchased a few other balloons and after we had cashed out Joan had us wait a minute and came back with a special small ballon for my daughter. She was so thrilled. We left feeling great and I was happy to support a small business in our city. We will be ditching the big box party store and using the Celebration Station...
