It’s just dirty and not a safe environment with everything that is going on. Nobody wipes down equipment. I’m probably the only person that does. The gym overall is okay… friendly staff and plenty of equipment… but I’m most likely canceling once my year is up because of how dirty it is. I don’t use weights at all anymore because I don’t want to touch them. When I wiped them down the wipes turn a different color which shows they aren’t cleaned enough. I strictly go for the treadmill and only when it’s too cold out to run outside. UPDATE 8/6/23 I’ve given this gym over a year to get its act together. I’m switching to LA Fitness next month. I’d rather pay the extra money for a clean facility with a pool than this place. 1.) Equipment is not cleaned. I am one of the first people entering the building every morning to avoid crowds and germs. There are sweat marks on almost every piece of equipment I use and I’m the first one to use them. 2.) The hand weights smell like rotten fish every day. I’m not exaggerating. The smell is overpowering. Which means they are never cleaned. 3.) They are out of soap weekly which means members cannot wash their hands after using the equipment. For me, after Covid, that is non-negotiable. Same with the wipes. They run out often. 4.) I left a message with the desk to discuss with the manager and never got a call back. EDIT: I did get a call back today 9/11 and Rachel was very nice. 5.) I just paid 60 dollars for the annual fee. For what? Fishy and dirty equipment and no soap and wipes half the time? 6.) see attached photo of the wipes after I wipe down the weights. Just to give you a broader picture. I would never recommend this gym. UPDATE 10/7/23 - I do feel like I’m seeing a difference. There has been no shortage in hand wipes or sanitizer. Soap in the men’s room hasn’t been empty. Weights don’t smell like fish anymore. So that’s a good start. I’ll wait it out a bit longer before switching gyms.

I have been coming to this location for a little while already and I like the set up. It gives a spacious vibe . The staff is super friendly and I always get greeted. The place is clean . Marilyn is always happy help with a smile. I really had a good laugh with Sandip. He was off and working out with a costume on Halloween , it was great , thank you. I needed that good laugh. This gym is convenient and works for me. A big plus is that there’s always sanitizing wipes available at every dispenser. Great job! Keep the up the good work! Gym time is me time and I enjoy coming here.

As a member this is my favorite blink so far. Early in the day it’s near empty and the service is always great.

Is there an option for 0 Stars?!? I am so disappointed by how Blink Fitness and its staff have handled my case and the outcome of their decision.

I have been a blink customer for over a decade, and on Monday I received a call saying that I was now banned from all blinks companywide due to "incidents" that have occurred over the past few weeks. There seems to be a character limit so I shall list them in a later review.*

In this complaint I will inform all potential gym goers of the terrible customer service, favoritism, collusion, and mistreatment of guests that happens during the work hours, what happened to me and why it will be better to not fund Blink Fitness or its subsidiaries. It has taken me about 3 days to write this because I wanted to make sure I did not leave a single thing off. The motto that "Blink is for everyone" is a load of hooey and gas lighting.

On Monday, August 8th, 2024 at around 4:30 PM I scanned into Blink Fitness Lodi. I greeted the front desk staff as I always do and did not receive a greeting. (This has been an ongoing complaint that I have made to the Manager Rachel and her staff many times. When I go to different Blink Fitness' other customers and I usually get greeted by a smiling associate and that never occurs in Lodi. Even before these incidents the staff has always been rude and dislikable with many guests complaining about it in the gym.) When I scanned in, I attempted to walk in and store my things in the locker and was stopped by Rachel. She asked me if I received a call from her manager to which I responded "no, I don't think so" and continued to walk. She kept in front of me and asked me to check my phone. I looked and said "oh yea, I do have a missed call. And that I would call them later. She still shuffled in front of me and told me to check my messages as her manager had left me a message. As the gym was too loud, I informed her that I would hear it after my run to which she cheerfully replied that her boss, "Milton" and other superior staff had made the decision to terminate my membership company wide. I asked her, For what? What happened? Looking to the other attendant, Nicole, for her reaction, no surprise another smile. Rachel told me that it was out of her control and that all answers I sought would be explained to me by Milton who was eagerly awaiting my call. I told her that I will call him and get everything straightened out to which she laughingly replied "even if you speak to him and he allows you back, I cannot allow you back in today. (Yeah, that never happened, Milton "North Jersey Regional Supervising Manager" is probably the most difficult person to get a hold of. I called the number and got another blink fitness that kept me on hold for about 10 mins only to tell me that he had left the location at noon, he's not coming back and best of all, I will have no communication options to reach him. For context I received his call at 1:06 PM.) To me, these events were all vindictive and retaliatory for my complaints about staff to Rachel earlier last month.

I still harken back to the cockamamie motto, Blink is for everybody & sure that sounds great, but what happens when the staff do not adhere to those ideals, when employment is a revolving door of new arrogant faces who can only manage to lift their heads from their cellphones to only receive paychecks as they await for better opportunities, while passing down their ill-gotten morals to the new impressionable staff in a never ending cycle. What happens you finally achieve your fitness goals and become someone. Well then, to them you are nobody. A nobody they can slander and kick out without a moment's notice on false accusations and conniving storytelling. For those new to Blink Fitness Lodi, I urge you to go to the other "fantastic" locations, my personal favorite, Paramus, and to those loyal customers who still believe the staff has your best interest in mind, be careful who you trust among them its only a matter of time before you end up like me.

"Enjoy your fitness adventure...

Dear Blink Fitness Team,

I wanted to take a moment to share my wonderful experience at Blink Fitness in Lodi, NJ, and express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional service and environment you provide.

From the moment I walked into the Lodi location, I was immediately impressed by the cleanliness and organization of the facility. The gym is always spotless, and the equipment is well-maintained, making my workouts both efficient and enjoyable. The variety of machines and free weights available allows me to tailor my routines to my specific needs, and I never have to wait long to use any equipment.

I must also commend Ms. Ramos, the manager of this location, for her exceptional leadership and professionalism. Ms. Ramos consistently goes above and beyond to ensure that every member feels welcome and supported. Her approachable and friendly demeanor creates a positive atmosphere that truly sets this gym apart. Whether it’s offering advice or simply greeting me with a warm smile, Ms. Ramos makes every visit to the gym a pleasure.

Additionally, I want to give a special shout-out to Marilyn at the front desk. Every time I walk into the gym, she greets me with a friendly smile and a warm welcome. Her kindness and professionalism contribute greatly to the positive experience I have at Blink Fitness, and it’s always a joy to start my workout with such a warm interaction.

The entire staff at Blink Fitness Lodi reflects this same level of dedication. Their positive attitudes and willingness to assist create a motivating and supportive environment that makes coming to the gym something I look forward to every day.

In summary, my experience at Blink Fitness in Lodi has been nothing short of fantastic. The combination of a clean facility, top-notch equipment, and a dedicated staff led by Ms. Ramos, with the added warmth from Marilyn at the front desk, makes this gym stand out. I’m grateful to have found a gym that not only meets but exceeds my expectations, and I’m confident that others who visit will feel the same.

Thank you for creating such a positive environment for fitness enthusiasts. I’m proud to be a member of Blink Fitness in Lodi and look forward to continuing my fitness journey with you.

Best regards, Kievon...

I'm new to Blink Lodi, having previously been a member at a Passaic location which closed. I'm really enjoying this location which I hadn't expected. It's a large gym, all one level which is helpful planning your workout. This location is very clean, from the floor to locker room, toilets and showers. The staff keeps it well-maintained, and members are good about wiping equipment.

Equipment is plentiful, spaced well throughout. There are a lot of treadmills, ellipticals and stair climbers - well used by almost everyone but never a wait. Good amount of weights in a couple areas and broad selection of machines. The gym could definitely use one additional leg extension, leg press, add a standing calf raise and rowing machine - otherwise almost everything one needs is here. There's natural light at front of the gym.

The members are an eclectic bunch - people of all types, fitness levels, and ages. There is no attitude nor toxicity I've noticed - people generally friendly, or they keep to themselves. One thing I've noticed is all seem dedicated and frequent regularly. Many people are very fit which helps inspire my workouts. There's a really good energy here - from the people to the quality of music (lots of pop, techno, electro which has the timing /cadence for good workout). Optimal time to visit is mornings - people are there right from the beginning yet machines and weights are still open for use. Fellow gymgoers during the morning are pleasant.

The best thing about my experience is Will Perez, my trainer. He has been great keeping me motivated, tailoring workouts to my goals and needs, and adjusting along with my progress (or based on equipment availability) and inspiring if I slip or have a reversal. He's very fit himself, knows the equipment and has the training / background to advise how nutrition, sleep and other factors support gains and good workouts. Working with him I've lost over 50 lbs, which was why I followed him to Lodi Blink to continue reaching my goals.

Overall, it's an excellent location with plenty of parking or reachable via NJ Transit bus across the street. Rates are very good and personal training is a great value and really helpful. Lodi has exceeded my...
