Do not go there On December 9th I got there with my son to get some video games When we got to the register my credit card didn’t go through first time, since the cashier was busy talking to his coworker and I was waiting more than 2 minutes for him to complete the transaction. So he asked me to swipe the card one more time and again he left in the middle of the transaction and went inside for another minute when I received a notification on my Apple Watch that the payment went through, then the cashier said it didn’t. I showed him the approved transaction on my app on my phone and he said no and gave me a receipt of the payment being rejected and asked me in non professional way to pay cash. I told him I’m using a different card and he said fine. When I asked him about the approved transaction on the first card, he said it wouldn’t go through. On Monday the payment was posted on both cards. I called the store and I was told to come in person to show them the receipt of rejection so they would reimburse me. At last I got there a week after, when I showed them the receipt and transactions on my phone they said fine go and dispute it, we can not provide you with a resolution. This place is not...
Read moreI visited GameStop yesterday with my family to pick up new PS5 controllers, and I was pleasantly surprised by how well-stocked the store still is, especially in a digital age. They had a great selection—not only of controllers, but also of accessories like charging docks. I liked that they carried both the official PlayStation charger and a third-party one that was about $5 cheaper, giving shoppers good options based on their budget.
One thing that really stood out was their pre-owned selection. I was able to grab a pre-owned controller in a new color that just recently came out—pretty cool! My husband already had his controller, but both of our daughters picked out different colors, so now it’s super easy to tell whose is whose. Out of the four controllers we now have, three were pre-owned and all were reasonably priced.
The clearance section was packed with fun items too—everything from cups and shirts to carrying cases. The employees were friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to help, which made the whole experience even better.
All in all, I’m glad GameStop is still around. It’s nice to have a place where you can see and test gaming gear in person and get real help from staff who know...
Read moreEddie is the problem. He’s unprofessional on the phone, he talks down to you, he acts like a know it all, he doesn’t look you in the eye in person, and he just outright seems miserable.
But here’s the thing, you work at GameStop. You deal with the same questions all day but that’s your job. We don’t know the answers and ask questions because they are just games and we buy a game once every two months but then you act like you are a educated doctor and talk down to people over what.. games?? And even if you’re a manager, are you really a manager when you’re the only guy there and no other employees everyday?
I went to leave this review and I saw the first 5 reviews all talking about the same guy being rude and they gave 1 star. I guess it doesn’t matter cause this guy has been there doing the same thing over and over every day for more than two years. ...
