NJ MVC Lodi Inspection — Attraction in Lodi

My experience here was not bad as they got the job done, but just really seemed miserable about it. The system is a bit annoying as we were put in line, and then told to reverse out of the line and go see the manager for an inspection. Not sure if that was due to my specific kind of vehicle or not, but it was just kind of counter intuitive as we could have just gone to the other lot to start. The directions to get there were a little weird as it felt like I was leaving the facility altogether. When I got there, the manager seemed super annoyed and told me to move my car two spots over in the lot because she did not want to walk further to see it. At this point, I just wanted to move on with my day so I moved the car and went back in. For the remainder of the time she seemed irritated with everything. Look, most people at some point have worked a job they hate and most people currently don’t like what they do for work. That is why it is called work! I would encourage them to fake a little smile and be a bit more pleasant. I am giving them the stars because the entire transaction did not take too long, it was just done weirdly. 10.24.2020 (Saturday) - they gave 200 numbers

I got there @1:56 am. The line was already around the building. Make sure to bring a chair 🪑 it will be a life saver. I walked around asking who was the last in line. I stayed in line until someone else arrived to make sure they saw me, I left my chair and I went to the car to take a nap. @4:45am I came back to the line and it was longer. I stayed for more 10 min and came back to the car. @7am I came to the line for good with my documents. @8am a lady came to give us the form and @8:10am a man came with the tickets numbers. I got the number #62. The tickets are where you need to write your phone number. They will text you to confirm. @8:31am they send the text confirmation and I could wait in the car. @9:06am I received a text to go in. @9:26am I checked my documents @10:26am all done! The place was clean and followed the social distance protocol. They have bathrooms inside but if you get there earlier they have the Port-A-Potties (it wasn’t pleasant but it was essential to me that arrived so early)

Horrible experience wow, i know my review unfortunately won’t make this place any better but Whatever you do don’t get assistance from the mexican old lady working at the 2nd cubical. She had called security on my mother after a minor misunderstanding over my identification papers which i was being assigned by the lady working at the first cubical so it was really none of her business to get involved to begin with. They let me stay because they realized my mom was actually correct about the identification forms and they were (real) and (in-fact mine) and they miss understood. The mexican lady or should I say “tipa” how she chose to identify my mother to the security, spoke very foul- using unacceptable slang in spanish. Being hispanic myself I was very offended… all that commotion for a $15 pay job is ridiculous. I eventually got what I wanted after her bad behavior and big scene but this is just a warning on for anyone wondering. Don’t waste your time...
