We trusted the great reviews and were severely disappointed.
I didn’t expect much for a small back alley mini golf place in Logan, Utah, however my low expectations were still way too high for this place.
First of all there isn’t even room to stand and hit the ball, okay whatever it’s old, we’re here to have fun, not a big deal.
Each hole has leaves and junk all over them, again whatever, not a big deal, just another little thing to add to the challenge I guess, however it would be really easy to take a leaf blower and clean it up a bit when it gets bad.
We went a little after 8, because it had finally cooled off on a 91 degree summer day, I double checked how late they were open (till 11) so I assumed they would have lights for people to play last sunset.
Well they do have lights, sort of, in some places, kinda. There are some battery operated security lights that worked in a few places but not to actually light up playing the holes. Most of the lights didn’t turn on. The last 4 holes had no lights at all. Everyone else left due to the darkness and we ended up skipping the last 3 because even with our cell phone lights it was impossible to actually see what we were doing.
It seems like a common occurrence that small local businesses just let the place run into the ground, charge a similar price to the chains they dislike and then expect the community to “support them”. For the $20 it cost us to play they could fix a light. We really wanted this to be a fun neighborhood place we can go with the family but even with extremely low expectations we were very much disappointed.
I attached a photo I took as we were leaving. The lights you do see are the parking lot next...
Read moreThis is a very quaint small course that is tucked behind some businesses, and you wouldn't even know it was there. It's not fancy like Boondocks. All of the holes need a coat of fresh paint, but half of the holes were shaded by trees. Almost all of the holes were sponsored by businesses that would give you a free meal or macarons or whatever they were offering if you made a hole in one. You have to video it and show it to the attendant working to get your coupon. Pretty cool! My son won a breakfast from Chik file and my other son won some macarons from a bakery. We had a lot of fun. My grandchildren loved the...
Read moreWe drove up to go as a family and turned around and left. It was so so so so tiny. It is just putting green practically. I'm not saying no one should go. If we lived in the area we'd probably hit this place up, but we are in vacation visiting family and were taking kids to play mini golf and drive up to find a tiny little area with no decorations really and no structures, just different little putting greens. It looks a bit sketchy, but would be fun in the right situation. We went bowling instead. Again, I'm not saying people should avoid this place, but if you go thinking a miniature golf place.... Lower your...
