Took my Necklace that we had purchased at an estate sale, to be appraised by david. david asked for my full address, and told us that it would take a week to be tested (test to see if the gold was real), I told him that we did not have the time and that it shouldn’t take more than 5 minutes to do a scratch test. He than said that he could do it really quick, he took the gold necklace and poured some sort of acid onto it, and it turned the gold completely black. We had to take it to two different places (Fast Cache Pawn, and Jerrick’s) to have it authenticated, and it turned out that the gold was real (14k). Jerrick’s, said that they would do their best to polish the gold and bring it back to its original color, however, they didn’t promise that it could be corrected. Both places said, who in their right mind would do such a thing., I did not mention any names, but at this point, I don’t want anybody to have the same experience that we had if they go to david’s store. I noticed that he has two accounts on Google so be cautious! If you have gold or anything of value, please do not take it here unless you want to get ripped off or have it destroyed! If I could give 0 stars I definitely would. My boyfriend and I had came into David’s store. And wanted to purchase a full set of pre-33 coin. Every domination. While speaking to David I had mentioned that I had gold bars assorted grams and coin if he’d be willing to trade for partial of the full set of pre-33s and cash for the rest. He immediately said yes that he would have to hold the items to have them tested. A few days later I go in and he’s informed me that a 2g argot-heraeus 999.9% gold assay. Closed package is only 95% pure. A 1/20 (Singapore) gold coin straight from APMEX wasn’t ready weight or purity correctly. And third but not least a 1gram asahi refining 2024 is 100% fake. (1gram has been tested by xrf and is pure 999.9%AU After two weeks of having my items. He sales the pre-33s without my knowledge. Because I have reached out to asahi assay/mint about it being fake.
