The Quad — Attraction in Logan

The quad is a pretty place, and obviously it's an iconic feature of the USU campus. The grass is always green, they do a good job with that. :) Grass feel isn't great. In order to keep it green they mow it long, which over time has resulted in a layer of green grass on top and then basically roots and then dirt. The roots in the middle make sitting on the grass less desirable, but if I were the groundskeeping crew I'd do the same thing because there's probably not another way to keep that much grass from drying out and dead grass...

A nice quiet place for a Friday night. There is a great grassy area for goofing around. Next time I come down, I will have to bring my hand launched glider to fly in the Quad. Plenty of room for it. A bit surprised at the abundance of flowering plants this late in the year. Adds a ton of color to the area. Lots of construction projects nearby, so it probably is not as quiet and peaceful...

Yo I don’t know how and why but this Google page has so many reviews. There isn’t even a bathroom here. It’s pretty good for being a grass field though. Firstly, it’s got grass.
