Went there primarily to let the grandchildren ride the carousel. It is beautiful . It's over 100 years old and there are only 3 of this type in the country. It is housed inside a nice building with seating around it and restrooms available. The kids enjoyed it. Check the hours of operation before you go. The park has a beautiful view of the Eel River. Read moreThe park is fine, over crowded and mostly teens during after school hours. It can get pretty rowdy sometimes and unpleasant for some, but there is the river trail on the other side of this park across the bridge in case you are into nice long walks, perfect place if you ride bikes. The restrooms are mostly clean, when the adult softball league is going, there is a small concession stand open which is nice. All in all the park is ok, but there are better.
