Not returning here for sushi or anything, period!! This location sold my teen daughter a supposed "freshly made" sushi roll containing spoiled cucumber. I called Stater Bros immediately after my kids told me the cucumber tasted bad. By that time, my 17 & 8 yo had eaten most of the roll. The assistant manager, by the name of Jasmine, could really care less. Offered no apology/ responded without concern regarding the spoiled cucumber in the sushi, instead we were instantly offered an exchange. After I informed her my kids had already eaten it/ we're not interested in an exchange/ we're simply calling to make the store aware that my kids consumed spoiled food from their establishment/ if they can please throw it away/ MAKE SURE OLD FOOD IS BEING DISPOSED OF AND NOT SERVED/people don't want to be served anything old, she said "okay, I will." didn't say anything further. As I mentioned, no concern, no apology. She used more words in her greeting upon answering the phone. You guys have got to be kidding me. I'm very upset by this experience, I filed a formal complaint with the county whose inspection returned without findings of said spoiled cucumber and a no further action to top it off! I mean, COME ON!!! It's been over a week since this happened! Of course the spoiled cucumber has been discarded. Properly train your employees to handle these situations, and most importantly to discard food when it's time!! It's not uncommon to employ people that don't fulfill their most basic duties when no one is looking. Someone in charge of making "fresh- made to order sushi" didn't do their job on this day, this was supposed to be a fun, "hey Ma, I'm going to pick up some sushi for me and my kid sister to share, I'll be right back." Rather turned out to be my kids eating this disgusting food we trusted would be fresh. Probably too much of a hassle to chop up some fresh cucumber for this kid's roll. Way to go,...
Read moreI'm extremely disappointed in the service I received tonight at this location! A female key carrier named Eileen handled my transaction.. how i know shes a key carrier is because i actually used to work at this staters so i know who's role is whos by the color aprons, anyhow she was just chit chatting with everyone around her and doesn't even properly greet me as I walk up just jumps straight to asking if I need bags.. I requested for my items to be bagged a certain way, cold items together and dry items separated simply because i had a long drive to where i was going and she literally doesn't even respond or relay the message to the clerk that walked up to help bag for her.. she honestly looked disturbed by my request so none of my cold items were bagged together everything was mixed up in the bags.. doesn't even thank me or hand me my receipt just throws it in the bag.. so I go to my car to rebag everything in complete disbelief in how horrible I was treated by this person smh I've never felt so unwelcome shopping somewhere until today .. I will not be returning to this location at...
Read moreI just left stater bros market in Loma Linda I went to buy alcohol and had forgotten my Id at home I allways carry a picture on my phone so I showed it to the night manager and he told me we can’t use that one. I understand that they need a ID card in person but the funny thing is that there where 2 people in front of me that also got alcohol and did not even get carded I don’t understand why it’s ok not to card 2 people and when I at least show them a picture they told me I needed the actual ID card but yet the 2 other people in front of me did not even get carded and did not even show there’s. I’m not sure if they are discriminating or what’s going on here at this store but very bad business to treat different people different ways... and yes I understand that I did not bring my id and that is my fault but you guys not carding 2 people in front of me is your fault. I will not be shopping at your store any longer and I know that I might be just a penny in your pocket and it will not hurt you to lose a small person that shops here but at least I can let other people...
