Denver Mattress — Attraction in Lone Tree

• Update * Zach called me about 15 minutes after post and made sure he took care of my issues. I was surprised to get a call but was very happy about it. Business's that listen to the customers are ones I prefer to shop at and will continue to shop at. I have updated to 5 stars because customer service is very big when I do a rating.

Very disappointed with my last visit. This is my go to place for my bedding needs, but... here was my last experience. I showed up at at 7:52PM on a Sunday. (They close at 8 PM) All doors were locked. I tried to open doors but they where locked and as I was walking away a guy came to door and opened it and asked if he could help me. "What I needed"? I proceeded to let him know I showed up to get a mattress cover. He said "come on in we get squeeze you in". (As far as I was concerned it was still business hours and no squeezing should be needed!!) They looked me up on computer and asked "how I would pay". I said it would be nice to put it on my account. I was then told "well it will be easier if you just pay cash". So I paid cash. Now its 7:59 and I am walking out and they say. "You will get a text survey about how we did and be sure to say night crew is the best" So above is my survey about my 7 minute visit which I was made to feel like i was bothering them because they wanted to leave and I was there during business hours and then told to give survey about how great they are. My wife and I purchased a mattress from Denver Mattress (Park Meadows). Our salesperson was Steve and he is exceptional (I suspect the rest of the staff are the same). We told him what we were looking for, and he focused on possible mattresses, bases and controllers that matched our needs. We tried several of each, since their mattresses can be mixed with different bases and controllers. No pressure to upsell or change our minds. After about an hour of trying various combinations we made a decision (reluctantly leaving the mattress we chose) and then worked out the finances. The entire staff was very helpful answering our questions while we discussed finances with Steve (he’s an expert but the additional help made the time much shorter). I usually hate shopping for anything, but this experience was a pleasure, and I can highly recommend. Some suggestions before you visit; go online to look at their inventory first, so you have an idea about your possible choices; have a delivery date when you can be home during the delivery window; know what you can afford since some of the price will be paid at purchase and some can be financed; if you can’t do it yourself then find a company (there are many junk haulers that can do it, but most charge a fee) that can disassemble your old bed and haul it away prior to your new bed delivery. I was pleasantly surprised with my experience buying a new mattress here. I got one from this location a few years ago and had what I would consider an average experience back then. The old mattress wasn’t working out anymore (different, heavily marketed but lesser quality brand) but their line-up of doctor’s choice and telluride mattresses interested me and seem to be regarded as a good value and quality in online circles since they are made directly by Denver mattress. I ended up purchasing an elite plush, very comfortable in the showroom, hopefully that holds when it arrives!

My main reason for leaving a review was my sales rep, Michael. I came in fully expecting to have to push back against sales antics but he was extremely helpful when I needed him and left me alone for as long as I wanted to test the mattresses I was interested in without me having to ask for the space. They have a process to help get you fitted into the correct firmness and everything which was much appreciated. I preferred the comfort of the cheaper of the mattresses I was considering and he didn’t try to upsell me or anything, he just seemed happy I found one I liked. I was planning on thinking it over for a day or two before buying but his genuine helpfulness and my immediate regard for the mattress caused me to just pull the trigger.
