Huuuge roaches, and you are on your own with them!!! Staff couldn’t care less! Don’t expect humanity, helpfullness, or common courtesy here! You are just a walking ATM to these people, and so are their vendors!

This is a big spot, you can find a lot of stuff. However, having said that, the times I have been in, my experience was never positive.

I should not have been surprised for the lack of courtesy for their vendors! We came in sent by one, the woman sent us from her shop, which we loved, so we came. Out of our way, but we had such a great experience there, that we made the trip to it. When we said ‘Oh, so and so sent us’, the girl just said: ‘Oh, she has a space in here, she just wants to make money!’. Nice way to talk about the people who pay you rent and send you customers!! Nothing like a downer opening line to say ‘Hello’ with!

Then, of course, can’t use their bathroom, (I wish we had spent nearly $200 at the shops next door instead, at least they wouldn’t have compared us with the crackheads when telling us why we could not use it). Considering I really wanted to shop, it bothered me, but figured business doesn’t come w humanity attached, I get it, am just a wallet with a dollar sign, just shop less and be out fast.

However, what got me really upset was the humangous ROACH I ran into, at least 1.5” big, in one of the shoe boxes in the back. As I mentioned, despite the unfriendliness, I wanted to shop, so I ran up front, to tell them. I thought they would come fix the problem. The girl just said ‘Oh, sorry’!.... but NOBODY came to do anything about it! After ten minutes, I had to leave (still needed to find a bathroom).

Very much a ‘ who cares, just need the $$$$’ attitude. Bugs freak me out, so I definitely could not go through the shoes, which is what I was shopping for, without someone removing the bug. I mean, just come, take the box, and set the lil fellow free outside, do something! Nope, no one cared! Out of 3-4 people working! Not like their vendor VAL (name on items in the space) needs to sell any merchandise!

I surely am...

I made the unfortunate mistake of entering the business through the back door where the parking is because it was standing wide open with no sign that says “no entry” or “use front door only”. I was immediately confronted as I walked in and the lady said “We have a front door you know” in a rude tone and I apologized and said (since I was also told they are about to close) “I’ve just come to look at an item I saw on instagram”. She took me to the item clearly agitated that I was there and once again said “In future only use the front door, in future” in a rude and agitated tone. I responded and said I’m sorry again and told her how incredibly rude she is being to me and that she’d already told me about the front door it’s not needed to repeat it to me at which point she said “I’m not going to argue with you I’m trying to have a nice Mother’s Day” and at that point I said I’d leave and never come back because I’ve honestly not been treated in such a rude and disrespectful way by a shop keeper. It’s a shame because I used to go there all the time and I recommended this store to multiple people but I won’t...

I plan to visit the store soon. This review is for Instagram buying and their delivery service. They are very responsive on Instagram. I inquired about a highboy dresser and was replied to right away. Purchased via phone + paid extra for shipping to Echo Park.

This place is great esp since moving from the East Coast to LA I’ve noticed a lack of antiques in my area that aren’t MCM. The prices in my area are also either outrageous or just leave me thinking, mehhhh I’m not getting much of a deal here. My only negative (no stars deducted though) would be that the inside of the dresser was not cleaned out. I had to vacuum out glitter, dust, paperclips, remove dryer sheets, and wipe it down. I would’ve done this anyway regardless but I get very skeeved out by other peoples’… dirt.

Magnolia and Willow hits the mark with their inventory, pricing, and customer service. I’ll definitely pick up...
