I haven't been inside of a Rainbows since I left Ohio in 2010 so I was very excited to stop and shop here for my last minute thabs giving outfit. I am typing this from the dressing room as I am extremely upset from my experience so far. I don't take long when I shop these days since I am 8 months pregnant and I get uncomfortable fairly quickly. I grab the items I want to try on and get to the cash register to he completely ignored by the 2 cashiers there. Keep in mind, there were no customers at the register when I got there. I patiently watched 1 cashier take care of several customers that came up several minutes after me. The other cashier made it her business to take a box to the back. After 10 minutes of being ignored, the second cashier comes from the back and says ,"Oh would you like to try that on?" I was raised not to make a scene in public places but I am truly upset. As a business you have the right to refuse service to anyone. You could've just asked me to leave your store rather than just ignore me as if I'm subhuman while you take care of the customers that look like you. But hey, just one of the joys of living...
ย ย ย Read moreWhile they have cute cheap clothing their customer services is trash. I shop there enough and most of the time there is one girl that is nice and welcomes me when I walk thru the door. But far too often am I met with cold non personable stand offish energy from the women that work there. As a business owner myself, it's very important to me that I make people feel welcome and comfortable when they work with me. Today when I went there for an exchange the woman at the counter was dry, cold, standoffish and not friendly at all. I wanted to say something but being that I'm having a nice day I choose to be the bigger person and let it go. I even complemented her nails and tried to start a conversation and was left on red. It's unfortunate because I spend plenty of money at this particular store. I guess I'll have to rethink that or hope that the tall sister with the great smile is there next time. She needs to be manager because whoever I dealt with today was dry as the desert....
ย ย ย Read moreToday on Sunday 1/29/2023 I came to grab a shirt and when I arrived the doors were locked. As it states on the window, website and online today the code time is 6pm. Unfortunately, it was about 535pm and they had already locked the doors. I'm not sure how the store corporate will feel that they losing out on money. I called to confirm the time and a young lady picked up and than hung up, called back and I ask what time they close she said 6pm I'm like while the doors are locked and she answer that they were picking up which was a lie they were talking to each other. This isn't cool at all and this generation of young employees think that if the close early they can leave on time, what happened to going above and beyond and pleasing...
