PBS Pub & Co. — Restaurant in Long Beach

I LOVE THIS LITTLE GEM! The old Wrigley watering hole has been bought out and reimagined, reformed to be a real neighborhood, safe place to hang out and meet some really interesting people -- starting with the lovely three folks that are the new proud owner-operators. I've already had a couple of parties at this place in the AMAZING huge back garden and regularly meet dozens of frieds there for happy hours on Fridays. There are 27 interesting beers on tap, featuring local brews and some real classics (like BASS ALE and slow pour GUINESS). I have to add that I have already been many times since the reopening a couple of months ago; never ONCE has someone, often a complete stranger NOT offered me a pint. Incredible. In future there are plans to add a food menu but in the meantime there is almost always a delicious pop-up grill in the garden serving hot meals (I think mainly on Thursdays and holidays, but maybe on weekends as well). Always wanted to check out this place after they took new ownership and remodeled the place.

Service - The staff here is super friendly and very easygoing and will go out of the way to make your stay feel great.

Venue - From outside the place looks tiny, but once you get inside, the place is a good size, and the outside patio is very chill and relaxing.

Prices - Fair pricing.

Drinks - They only serve beer and wine, but the selection is great, and they always have samples of different stuff.

Food - They will soon get food going, but in the meantime, they offer some great Filipino style peanut and sometimes have colabs with food vendors that cook up a great meal.

Overall, it was a great place and will be my go-to...

Great little Pub in Long Beach, service was fantastic. We were there for a fundraiser and frankly fell in love with the place... it has a outdoor patio were you can just relax and enjoy a drink or two, pool table inside just a cozy place to be with friends for a drink. To be fair only beer and wine is available here but they also have 27 different beers on tap definitely one for your palette. Food is just little shareable finger foods people were raving about the slider so I will go back and try them next...
