First and foremost most items are expired or are set to expire very soon, so check dates on food. The cashier is absolutely disgustingly awful, I really tried to overlook it thinking maybe it was just a bad day for her but no, she has a terrible, disgusting, demeanor every single time she is there, her attitude is disturbing. She is a short and fat woman with hair pulled back, when I greet her she will say nothing or speak through her teeth as if she is annoyed. I came through her line and she had the nerve to say, "cash, card, (looked me up and down) or ebt". I looked at her in a puzzling way because the Caucasian man in front of me she asked "cash or card". And the Asian woman behind me she asked, " cash or card". I purposely gathered my bags slowly to see what she said to the Asian lady behind me. Needless to say she didn't say ebt to them, it really put a damper on my day. I don't use ebt and even if I did, who are you to try and make that assumption by looking at and trying to stereotype me. Also on an occasion after shopping and on my way out of the store I stopped with tears in my eyes and said to the Samoan security guard, "Do you realize how you make people feel when you follow them around the store as if they are going to steal, it hurts". And quietly walked out to my car. The store has a lot of work to do, I can only hope it...

FINALLY SOMEONE GOT IT RIGHT!

By putting a Grocery Outlet Bargain Market (GOBM) in Long Beach on Willow Ave.

Stores like this are a true Godsend for the hard working people that live in the area because before there were NO stores in close proximity that offer quality, healthy food choices at prices that don't eat up their hard earned, honest wages.

I have been shopping in this store twice since its Grand Opening and I have marveled at how clean and easily accessible all the items are!

And the GOBM staff is very friendly and congenial from the staff on the floor stocking items to the Cashiers at Checkout.

But personally and I'm talking about myself here now, the greatest takeaway that I noticed when I first shopped at this GOBM is the ethnic diversity of the staff who work in the store.

The ethnic makeup of the staff represents the same customers that live in the surrounding area and that coupled with the incredibly low prices on healthy, quality foods, produce, etc., will always keep people shopping there!

So again MAJOR KUDOS!👏👏👏👏! to the Owner and Staff of GOBM on Willow Ave.

A review said stock was limited. That's what outlet means. 😅 If you require a specific brand, go to a full-price grocer. I come here party supplies - they'll always have several kinds of cookies and candies, many brands and types of potato chips and salty snacks, olives, good prices on sodas, beer and wine, something in the freezer section for hot hors d'oeuvres. I'm not real picky on which brand or type of alternative milk, so I can always find cashew, almond or oatmilk here. The produce section is pretty decent. I don't care which brand of eggs I buy, but I come here because their prices are lower. Lots of frozen pizzas, veggies and meals. There's usually some daily...
