North Coast Antique Mall LLC — Attraction in Long Beach

I agree with the other reviews. Although this antique mall is huge, and there is quite a bit to see; the building is ready to fall apart. It definitely smells like mildew and mold so just a warning if you have allergies or our sensitive to smells. a lot of buckets everywhere holding water from leaks , sagging ceilings… eek. A lot of the merchandise was moist and moldy. I did find a few good treasures, but I really had to dig. Most of the booths were completely disorganized; having to dig and step over stuff on the floor . I will say the man was very friendly at the front and did not bother us the entire time. Although I usually love hunting through junk, this was a rough one; as I was sensitive to the smell after about an hour. There was lots to see! I have mixed opinions about this place. The antiques and old trading cards are nice and all but the mold smell and leaking ceilings are a turn off. And the customer service... If you're a young woman or are sensitive to mold, BE CAREFUL 😭. My friend and I came here (20 year old women) for a quick walk around and when I was checking out my items, it took 25 minutes of asking personal questions for them to total up what I had to pay. The male cashier kept telling my friend and I he would "give us $5000 to achieve our dream" and "if you work $8.50 an hour, you get 40% of my plot of land to live on" finally I bought my $16 worth of small items and we booked it. This experience was not worth old pokemon...

Martin the owner is a really great guy. If you stop anywhere in long beach make sure its here! Not only can you literally spend an entire day looking at all the stuff in this store that is as big as a full city block but you're sure to find some really cool things to take home with you. But seriously, stop here and say hi to Martin, he's always friendly and helpful. He does so many great things for the long beach community but will never say so. Love supporting great business...
