There was rust in the metal bucket used for throwing away crab shells, which wouldn't be a problem, except my FORK and other eating utensils were given to me INSIDE the rusty pail, with the prongs literally touching the rust... I didn't use that fork. Then when three of our group ordered the whole crab boil we were super excited to get our own entire crabs... Then my cousin suddenly stopped eating and handed me her crab leg. It smelled like ammonia. Not just a trace of a smell, but potent enough to burn my nose and cause me to wretch. She didn't eat the crab. This caused the rest of us with crab to carefully inspect each piece before we eat it, leading to anxiety instead of a fun experience. The rest of our crab was tough and dry, the salt from the butter was the only flavor. This place has definitely changed. The quality has fallen off of a cliff since the new owners took over. I miss The Crab Pot. Never going here again.

This place had great crab dinners in 2022. We returned and were very underwhelmed. My wife’s $25 crab boil was way too salty and was charged $28. My cod fish tacos were simply mayonnaise on a fish stick in a tortilla. I had to pour Tabasco on them for flavor. I’m used to some kind of mango salsa: ripe mangos, red bell pepper, red onion, cilantro, jalapeño and lime, but this was simply mayonnaise with bits of cabbage, $6 each, so $18. The water was great tasting though we’d have appreciated some ice in it on a 100 degree day. We won’t return. Pretty sad that the gas station corn dog and sausage on a stick with mango smoothy for $7 total was easily better than this $60 meal.

Love the food, this place is underrated and the food is incredible, very tasty clam chowder, the best overall, taste texture and portion size, my wife ordered the Mexican stile clam chowder, spicy and very flavorful, i ordered the fish and chips, i was so satisfied and full, it was super crispy and tasty, i had to share my food with my wife, my wife ordered the fried shrimp, it was amazing, she shared with me, big shrimp battered to perfection, i highly recommend, better then more expensive places that don’t even provide quality or good portions.

I wish I could leave a good review for our first experience. We entered and there were two waitresses. Neither acknowledged us waiting. Finally one stopped and seated us. After we were seated, the other waitress scolded our waitress out loud and in front of the restaurant. She was mad because the other waitress had apparently taken her 2 tables. Well, she never looked at us nor seated us. She just kept on walking by. This waitress should be fired if I was the owner. Very disrespectful to the other waitress and the patrons waiting and eating. She was loud and rude. This could have been a better service and atmosphere rating. I also felt our order had taken too long. I almost felt that maybe the loud and obnoxious waitress may have moved our...

Service: When we got there we were one of two tables. When we left, we were one of 4. We waited for our order to be taken. Waited for food. Didn't get checked on for refills. Had to hunt down our check. Server seemed bored, like she didn't want to be there - which is fine if the quality of service was good. Atmosphere: funky smell inside, but super clean looking. Food: Ceviche had cucumber, which wasn't listed in the ingredients - hate cucumber, ruined the whole thing (that is subjective, so take that as you will). The chowder was barely a step above Cicsco's chowder. No seasoning, the texture of the veg and bacon were homogeneous, the whole thiing was as good as a Fri chowder at a Denny's. Prices:...
