Reuter Park is an absolute gem for families looking for a fun and engaging outdoor experience! Our kids have the best time every time we visit. The park is beautifully maintained and offers a variety of activities that cater to children of all ages.
One of the highlights for our kids is the playground, which features an impressive array of climbing structures, slides, and swings. It’s the perfect spot for them to burn off some energy and let their imaginations run wild. We love that there are safe areas for younger children as well, allowing everyone to play without worry.
In addition to the playground, Reuter Park has spacious fields for running around or playing games, as well as walking trails that are great for family strolls or bike rides. The picnic areas are well-equipped, making it easy to enjoy a meal outdoors while soaking up the sun.
What really stands out is the sense of community at Reuter Park. It’s always bustling with families and children, creating a lively and friendly atmosphere. We often meet other families there, and it’s great to see our kids making new friends while having fun.
Overall, Reuter Park is a fantastic destination for a day of family fun. With its excellent facilities and vibrant atmosphere, it's a place where our kids can play, explore, and create lasting memories. We highly recommend spending a day at Reuter Park – you won’t be...
Read moreGreat park for kids aged 3-7. One main playground area but there is a large open field, a great trail for chats with benches along the way. What I love about this park is there are two pavilions, and plenty of benches to watch the kids play if you need a parent break shaded and not. Also what I appreciate are the trees for shade and the open field for picnics, yard games and playing tag. Along the trail are a few information stations, there is an outdoor gym circuit. There are tennis and pickle ball courts, basketball. We love the rock area and meditation and the simple swing chair to chat and take a break before we finish the loop. Of course there is a stage that sometimes the community will use for performances.
Restrooms weren't the greatest but they werent the worst as it relates to a park restrooms.
Parking there is a small but to come here with a birthday and average weekend visitors it could be not enough but you can park at the Orlando health parking and it's not a far walk and not a big deal.
I really like this park in early mornings or not hot days because the playground area is not covered nor shaded by trees so the metal...
Read moreMy family and I would love to enjoy this park more especially with our new baby. The problem is how absolutely against dogs they are. We live nearby and would love to walk/run/bike to the park to play or go to events but with all the big bold signs against dogs it makes it an unattractive place to go. We work hard all week and our dog is in the crate all day that on a Thursday night for food trucks it would be nice to go as a whole family and burn some energy for our dog on the way. Friday night movie sounds great but how can we go after a long day and not being our dog to an outdoor venue? Farmers markets, Christmas tree lighting, etc… I was super excited about this park opening back up after we moved til we realized how unfriendly it is. I get a lot of people are not dog people but other parks and cities have figured it out to be together and still make the environment stay nice. Our family truly wishes we could enjoy...
