Denker Recreation Center — Attraction in Los Angeles

Very horrible experience here , the staff is extremely rude and disrespectful. We were running a few laps and trying to play a bit of soccer when a man by the name of Dan Patterson, I believe came out screaming at us scaring my nephews and little brothers that we had to leave from the park because it was closed.

The interesting part here is that we were questioning why we had to leave if the gate was open and there were no signs of not being able to play soccer at a public park ? It's no type of professional soccer or anything just trying to exercise a bit and have some healthy fun with the kids.

It was the way he screamed at us while also using profanity to try to make us leave that upset me the most . We stayed there to finish our game even if he threatened us with calling the police. I will be filing a complaint about him tomorrow, first thing in the morning .

So sad that he can scare other people like that and treat them however he feels like it. When we exit the park and went around there we saw people smoking week and drinking there .

How sad to have to go through something like that and having the kids ask why we are being treated like that and kicked out of a public park in that way .

Worst experience ever !!! I signed up my son for the after school program club, the girl in front desk named Jessica ,who helped me with the paper work did not give me any information. I was the one asking 21 questions. I signed him up on Monday, I even showed up to meet the person who picks up the kids from school his name is Sergio. He was nice I approached because he has a badge and I introduced my self so I can point him put to my kid. I asked Jessica how would the staff know to pick up my son. She didn't even know she said i think they wait for them by some tree. The person in charge did not, Inform their staff of a new applicant. The staff from Monday didn't pick up on Tuesday afternoon it was someone else. I am at work getting a phone call that my son is in the office. I specified this to Jessica are you sure there going to pick him up on time. Worst feeling a 5 year old having anxiety because he doesn't know who the hell is going to pick him up . I got out of work and picked up my son and went to go get my refund back. Staff are...

The basketball court is only open to the public from 11 - 1pm. Just for 2 hrs?!? That’s ridiculous. It’s an open park and everyone should be able to just go. I went there because it says they are open till 9pm and once I got there the lady was so rude to me and she said there closed. Even if it says 9pm. Just shut the door in front of my face !!.
