Discount Medical Pharmacy — Attraction in Los Angeles

I was recently back in LA for a quick visit and driving by this, my old pharmacy, I made a note to write a review when I got a chance. This independent shop, which I used for about five of the 10 years I lived in Silver Lake, is one of those things in life that work so well it's easy to take for granted. Until you move, and realize how special and rare such a business is these days; in any field, but particularly the retail pharmacy space. DMP is a perfect example of something functioning exactly as it OUGHT to... i.e. a business who's customers require various and sundry medications in a timely manner--that is, a pharmacy--that actually CARES that said customers indeed receive their medications in a timely manner (many of whom undoubtedly critically rely on them to remain healthy/functional) and does so with kindness, understanding, and a personal touch for regulars. Things that are all but extinct in 99.99% of this country's chain-dominated retail pharmacy landscape. When I moved from LA to South Florida a few years back, I was absolutely floored at the horrible, incompetent service and, on a human level, the awful, even cynical treatment customers, myself included, receive at virtually all outposts of the remaining national chains. It's jaw dropping, and again, another example of something I took for granted....until I didn't. Greatest Team of professionals I have had the pleasure to deal with. This is a Independent small pharmacy with personalized service. Where everyone is on a 1st name basis. Their prices are better then any of the big chains, due to the fact that they go out of their way to find the best Meds and work with insurance providers as well a many assistance programs. Perceptions are often filled on the spot with-in 5 minutes, sometimes less! I have never had a pharmacy go out of the way for me like Soren and his team have. With the utmost courtesy and professionalism. Come to a pharmacy where you are treated like a real human being, instead of looked at suspiciously like at most of these judgmental Pharmaceutical corporations. I can not say enough about...

Where larger pharmacies either won't order or make you wait several days, these people have in stock the specialist medications that you need either for disease control or comfort issues. The staff is very knowledgeable and very helpful. They also carry a decent Homeopathic line and a good Nutritional supplement line, along with things like incense, ear candles, natural medications...for a holistic treatment of...
